The Mediator Role of Organizational Intelligence in the Relationship between the Quality of Information Technology and Job Performance of Employees

Abstract :
The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the quality of information technology and the job performance of employees with the mediator role of organizational intelligence in the organization of Mining and Trade Industry of North Khorasan. The research methodology was descriptive, correlation type. Research was also applied in terms of the goal. The statistical population of this study was the total number of 178 employees of the organization of Mining and Trade industry in North Khorasan. Using Cochran formula and relative stratified random sampling by gender, 121 subjects were considered as samples. Data collection tool was a standard questionnaire of information technology quality, a standard questionnaire for job performance of Paterson employees and Albrecht's standard organizational intelligence questionnaire. After confirming the validity of the questionnaires, the reliability coefficient of each questionnaire was obtained using Cronbach's alpha coefficient equal to 0.96, 0.86 and 0.89, respectively. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 22 and Lisrel 8 software in two sections: descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the quality of information technology and job performance of employees with the mediator role of organizational intelligence. Also, according to the structural equation modeling test, organizational intelligence has a mediator role in influencing information technology on job performance and, on the other hand, there is a direct and significant relationship between the quality of information technology and job performance of employees.
