Investigating the role of human capital in moderating the relationship between knowledge management and job stability in the tourism industry with regard to general employment policies

Abstract :

This study examines the moderating role of human capital in the relationship between knowledge management and job sustainability in the tourism industry, with reference to selected General Employment Policies. Using a descriptive–survey method, data were collected from 190 tourism industry managers and experts and analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS software. The findings indicate significant relationships between structural, cultural, human, and technological dimensions of knowledge management and job sustainability. Human capital moderated the relationships involving cultural, human, and technological knowledge management, but not the structural dimension. The results highlight the importance of strengthening human capital to enhance job sustainability in the tourism sector.
