The Holy Qur'an, as the holiest Islamic text, has always been the source of Persian poet. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of the Holy Quran on imaginaton in the Orfi Shirazi's Sonnet, a pioneer Indian poetry Style in the 10th century Hijri. The main claim of the present research is that Orfi has been used the Qur'anic words in the creation of narrow imaganation and exquisite images, and The Quranic words, in many cases, can be aesthetically and imaginatively analyzed. To prove this claim, and study the position of the Qur'an in the orfi poetry, his sonnets have been investigated in the context of the influence of the Qur'an on production of image in the field of two expression and oratory sciences. And The various types of borrowing of this poet from the Holy Quran in the creation of poetic images , Has been analyzed. The results of this research show that the most common use of the Holy Qur'an in creating images taking in narrow imagination exaggerated, as well as in the construction of metaphors.
