Dam utilization rule curve is also provided in such studies. The system of Dez dam water resources was simulated applying the basic information in order to determine the capability of its reservoir to provide the objectives of the performed plan. As a meta-exploratory method, genetic algorithm was applied in order to provide utilization rule curves (intersecting the reservoir volume). The significance of using rule curves and the decrease in decision making variables in the system was determined through system simulation and comparing the results with optimization results (Standard Operating Procedure). One of the most essential issues in optimization of a complicated water resource system is the increasing number of variables. Water reservoir programming studies has been performed based on basic information, general hypotheses and standards and applying monthly simulation technique for a statistical period of 30 years. Results indicated that application of rule curve prevents the extreme shortages and decrease the monthly shortages. Manuscript profile -

3 - Integrated Evaluation of Increasing Irrigation Efficiency and Reducing Discharge Impacts on Hydropower Generation of Basin Water Resources System(Case Study: Dez Irrigation Network – Dez Dam)Journal of Water Science & Engineering , Issue 5 , Year , Autumn 2017World electricity production today is heavily dependent on water resources. Studies have shown that global warming and climate changes will have significant impacts on available water resources to produce hydroelectric power. Considering that the reservoir dam in the catchment area of Dez is simultaneously a producer of hydropower and supplier of water needed for agricultural land, the aim of this study is to estimate the quantitative effect of improving the efficiency of irrigation networks and reduce inputs to the dam on the amount of annual hydropower generation by the Dez dam power plant. For this purpose, with the integrated simulation of the Dez basin to Bandeghir, the effects of improving the efficiency of 5, 10, 15 and 20 percent, as well as decreasing the river inputs at 5 and 10 percent in two short- and long horizons, were studied. The results of this study showed that in the long run, as a result of the increased demand and the increase of hydraulic structures that are now at the justification stage, the amount of hydropower generation is reduced by about 115 GWh. The results showed that improving the efficiency can increase the amount of hydropower generation between 2 and 6 GWh per year. The production of hydroelectricity was highly dependent on the Dez River inputs, so that in the scenarios, a sudden drop in hydro-energy production occurred and the amount of it decreased by 5 and 10 percent, by 140 and 296 GWh, respectively. Among climatic variables, temperature and precipitation are the most important variables whose changes are directly reflected in soil moisture and surface and groundwater flows. In the present study, after collecting monthly precipitation and temperature data in the statistical period of 2012-1983 and examining their quality, homogeneity and validity, using the non-parametric I-Kendall test to investigate the trend of temperature and precipitation changes in selected meteorological stations in the province. Khuzestan was paid. The results of the studied statistical period show an increase in the trend of annual temperature changes in all selected stations of the province. According to the obtained results, the average annual temperature in Ramhormoz, Bostan and Abadan stations with 7.8 Co and 7.5 Co, respectively And 7 Co in the study period of 1983-1982 show the highest upward trend, and similarly, Masjed-e-Soliman station shows the lowest upward slope with an annual temperature increase of 4.2 Co in the thirty-year period. According to the results, the average annual rainfall shows a decreasing trend of this variable in most stations. But the variable of precipitation, unlike temperature, does not show uniform changes. In this study, Mahshahr and Omidiyeh port stations, which are located in the southeastern part of the province, have shown a relative increase in rainfall in the 30-year period of 1983-2012 Manuscript profile
