Relationship between Employees' Perceptions of Knowledge Sharing Culture and Organizational Factors

Abstract :
Nowadays knowledge sharingas an element of knowledge management process has a key role in the development of public sector organizations. This article deals with measuring the perception of knowledge sharing culture in the public sector organizations, and investigates its relationship with organizational factors. In this regard, the relevant organizational factors were recognized using literature review on knowledge sharing culture. The data were gathered through survey method by distributing questionnaires among public sector agencies in Qazwin province. The findings of the present research indicate that there is a significant relationship between employees' perceptions of knowledge sharing culture and organizational factors as follows: management's support for knowledge sharing, organization's social interaction, organization's size, knowledge sharing technology, trust, reward structure, and status differences.
