Systematic review of supply chain capabilities and competitive advantage in food industry supply chain

Abstract :

This‏ study‏ was‏ conducted‏ with‏ a‏ descriptive-analytical‏ approach‏ and‏ using‏ the‏ Bibliometric‏ Analysis‏ method‏ and‏ the‏ VOSviewer‏ tool.‏ The‏ aim‏ of‏ the‏ research‏ is‏ to‏ outline‏ the‏ scientific‏ structure‏ of‏ published‏ studies‏ and‏ discover‏ the‏ co-occurrence‏ networks‏ of‏ keywords‏ in‏ the‏ field‏ of‏ supply‏ chain‏ and‏ competitive‏ advantage‏ in‏ the‏ food‏ industry.‏ A‏ total‏ of‏ 245‏ articles‏ related‏ to‏ the‏ specified‏ keywords‏ were‏ extracted‏ and‏ analyzed‏ using‏ the‏ VOSviewer‏ software.‏ The‏ analyses‏ included‏ mapping‏ the‏ co-occurrence‏ of‏ keywords,‏ the‏ dispersion‏ of‏ domains,‏ and‏ examining‏ the‏ relationship‏ of‏ research‏ concepts‏ in‏ the‏ scientific‏ literature.‏ The‏ findings‏ show‏ that‏ the‏ greatest‏ focus‏ of‏ research‏ in‏ the‏ 2010s‏ and‏ more‏ was‏ in‏ the‏ areas‏ of‏ competitive‏ advantage,‏ financial‏ performance,‏ shareholder‏ value,‏ and‏ supply‏ chain‏ capabilities.‏ Also,‏ the‏ words‏ "financial‏ performance,"‏ "innovation,"‏ and‏ "effectiveness"‏ were‏ the‏ most‏ frequent‏ concepts‏ in‏ the‏ co-occurrence‏ network.‏ The‏ results‏ of‏ this‏ study,‏ while‏ highlighting‏ research‏ gaps,‏ can‏ help‏ researchers‏ identify‏ scientific‏ trends‏ and‏ food‏ industry‏ managers‏ formulate‏ strategic‏ policies..
