Identification of Professors' Professional Competencies in e-learning environments (Delphi Techniques)

Abstract :
The purpose of this paper was to identify the professional competencies of faculty members in virtual education environments. This study was conducted by Delphi method. In this research, after examining the documents about the professional competencies of faculty members, 21 faculty members taught in electronic universities were selected as the statistical sample of the study. The professor’s professional Competencies components in e-learning environments, is classified into three personal, educational and technologic categories. Which, in personal level: the responsibility sense component, in educational level: the professor’s comprehensive looking and deep speculation and in technical level: the domination, organizing and producing concepts, are the most important components in professor’s professional efficiency. based on the theoretical and practical studies, the professor’s professional efficiency norms in electronic education environments, were in three dimensions: the personal, educational and technical Competencies that each of these dimensions, had sun-components which after the survey from students, the valid sub-components of each of these Competencies, were measured
