About the journal
The Journal of Industrial Engineering International (JIEI), established in 2003, is dedicated to advancing both the theory and practice of industrial engineering. The journal provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to share innovative research findings, cutting-edge methodologies, and practical solutions to contemporary challenges in industrial engineering.
Since 2005, JIEI has published approximately six full-length articles in each quarterly issue, with all content presented in English. The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, short communications, and high-impact contributions covering a broad spectrum of industrial engineering topics, including production systems, operations research, optimization, supply chain management, and training systems.
All submitted manuscripts are subject to a rigorous, fair, and double-blind peer-review process. On average, the initial article status is determined within 2–4 days, the peer review process takes about 25–60 days, and accepted articles are typically published within 70–90 days.
As an open access journal, JIEI is committed to the worldwide dissemination of scientific knowledge, aiming to foster collaboration and growth throughout the international industrial engineering community.
