The purpose of this research is to "examine the knowledge of educators about the developmental-educational characteristics of preschool children in Iran". The approach of this research is qualitative and phenomenological. , Ilam and Kermanshah were selected purposefully. The data collection tool included a semi-structured interview, which the researcher used to measure the knowledge of preschool teachers about children's developmental-educational characteristics. The validity of the intended tool was determined in two ways, "form and content" using the opinion of educational experts in the field of preschool children's education and psychology experts. In this section, the reliability method of agreement between two coders was used to check the reliability of the interviews. The findings of the research showed that the teachers' knowledge of the ratio of educational-developmental characteristics in the components of emotional-social, mental-cognitive, language-speech, creativity and innovation is weak and the level of knowledge of the teachers with the educational needs and characteristics of children's religious-moral development is within It was desirable
