        This research studies the relationship between socio-economic status and music consumption among the youth. The socio-economic indexes include prestige, power and property from Max Weber's Theory. This survey covers a researcher-made questionnaire along with 200 young ones between 15-35 years of age living in Tehran (areas: Elahieh, Jourdan, Apadana, Enghlab, Kianshahr, Ra-ahan). Nine hypotheses were analyzed in the search and statistical coefficients show significant relationship between music consumption and youth status.         This research studies the generation gap among the students at Andimeshk Islamic Azad University. More than 305 people were chosen by Cochran Formula in the study. The dependent variable was divided to four dimensions social, cultural, political and economic. The obtained mean of the study shows there is a meaningful difference between students and their parents (fathers and mothers). It also shows that there is a direct and positive relationship between reference group, leisure time, media consumption with generation gap among students and their parents. Regression analysis represents that independent variables determine 39.3 percent of generation gap variation between two study groups. Family structure and media consumption both affect more than other variables. Manuscript profile

        Fashion and mode among the youth is a kind of social values and trends. Parentship conflict and generation gap make a great distance between parents and children. This paper tries to study the high school girls attitudes toward fashion in Minab. The present survey uses theories frameworks like, Bourdiou, Zimel and Veblen. More than 312 high-school girls were analyzed as sample group in Minab. Through statistical indexes and Likert Scale, the questionnaire was analyzed. The results show that there is a significant relationship between friendship and mass media. Media consumption, artists pattern and social status with fashion are made.         In recent years, due to the significant demographic changes and increasing young population in the country, including Kurdistan, there was too much demand for the labor, and it causes unemployed persons. In this study, the unemployment rate in Kurdistan province has been studied with emphasis on the youth. The main question was the trend of unemployment rate of the young population? Secondary analysis of census data related to employment and activities of the province in 1996-2006 was the method of research, and the unemployment rates were analyzed using Excel software. The results showed that the unemployment index increased from 9% in 1996 to 20.2% in 2006. The unemployment rate in all age groups in both urban and rural areas, (men and women) experienced ascending trend, more than doubled(the unemployment rate among women was remarkable), the youth unemployment rate increased from 16.5 to 37.6 percent. The findings showed the rate of unemployment among the educated was high in both periods, but the index 2006, 2.6 times have been more than and reached from 7 to 18.2 percent at that time. It seems this situation is due of increasing of young people in the province, and the lack of productive infrastructure. At last, with attention to the favorable geographical and strategic position of the region, solutions for policymaking have been offered in the paper. Manuscript profile

        This research studies the origins of identity among the female students in Khalkhal high-schools in 2012-2013. Data was gathered through the survey method (questionnaires) and the library method. The dependent variable was the study of identity seeking, but the independent variable includes the degree of religious orientation, social status of the family, the access to foreign networks, the solidarity within friends' groups, and the students' self –confidence. In order to determine their relationships, theories from Parsons functionalism, Herbert Bliummer's imitation, exchange theory of Mead, Karl Marx and Weber's conflict theory, symbolic interactionism, Durkheim's ideas about religion and also psychological theories were in the study. The data was analyzed in the study. The data was analyzed by SPPS software and appropriate statistical tests such as Pearson's correlation coefficient, T-TEST and multiple regression analysis.         This study connected with the aim of relationship between attitudes and social competence in parent-child emotional metacognition. With Cochran formula and Multi-stage cluster random sampling method 250 students were selected as a sample size. Emotional metacognition questionnaires conducted on students and their parents to complete the religious attitudes and social competence. Statistical models of multiple regressions and SPSS software was analyzed for the data. Finding showed that 27.5% of the variance in emotional metacognition explained by linear relationship with religious attitudes and social competence. The competence was roughly 18.8% and the family religious attitudes was nearly 8.7%. The results showed that there is significant difference in male and female students in the relationship between religious attitudes and social competence in parent-child emotional metacognition, but for the female students, the religious attitudes in explaining their metacognition are more than estimated variable for male students, emotional metacognition was more than other observed variables.         This research studies the ration of social participation among the youth aged 18-29 in Bam after the disastrous earthquake in December 2003 and its effective factors. In this paper, the youth more than 400 people were asked directly with an Interview and a Questionnaire in Bam (South of Iran). Theories like modernization school adopted by learner, Ingelhart, Hantington, Lipst, Almound, Powel, Rogers and Kaouline were applied in the paper. That Pearson Coefficient Correlation shows there is a direct and positive relationship between social belonging, social satisfaction, mass media, responsibility, voluntary membership in NGOs with the youth social participation. Those variables like level of age. Education, ritualism, kinship, social freedom. Periods of living in Bam have significant relationship with the youth social participation.         Religiosity and adherence to the principles and values of families and religious factors decrease the domestic violence towards children in families. This study investigates the relationship between religiosity, parental violence toward children in Ahvaz. The study population consisted of all boys and girls (high school students) and their parents. By multi-stage cluster sampling method, 384 were selected as sample. In this study, two questionnaires, the measure of childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) (Bernsterin, 1995) and the scale adoption of Stark (1988), were used respectively. For data analysis, statistical indicators, standard deviation and regression analysis were performed. According to the study, the overall dimensions of religiosity, parental violence toward children, there was a significant relationship. The results showed that among the religious rituals and the consequences of violence, significant correlations were observed. The results of this study indicate that the level of parental religiosity of domestic violence (physical, emotional, neglect) there was a significant relationship between the parents and children. The multiple regressions showed that the variables most affected by religious conviction have domestic violence towards children. According to the findings, it needs to pay more attention to families for planning and teaching of religion in the family and society. Manuscript profile
