Introduction:Studies show that the effects of different types of physical activity vary in various intensities and periods on body composition, lipid profile, and liver enzymes in men and women with varying levels of age, fitness, and health. Anethum herbal supplement can reduce cholesterol and triglycerides and help prevent and treat atherosclerosis. The effects of Anethum in interaction with exercise on blood lipids, body composition, and liver enzymes are unclear.Material & Methods:28 healthy and inactive male obese volunteers (age 20-30 years old) were randomly divided into four groups: Training, Anethum, Training+Anethum, and Control group. Independent variables included performing eight weeks of aerobic training and taking 650 mg of Anethum tablets for eight weeks, three times a day after meals. Dependent variables included lipid profile factors, body composition, and serum levels of liver enzymes. The intensity of aerobic training was set at 50 - 75% Vo2max using the HRR method to observe the principle of increasing overload. The main stage of training consisted of 45 minutes of aerobic activities. Paired samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Tukey's post hoc test were used to determine the within-groups and between-groups differences, respectively, at a significance level of 5%.Results: Performing eight weeks of aerobic training combined with Anethum herbal supplementation reduces LDL_c, TC, TG, BMI, WHR, ALT, ALP, and AST in the fasting state of inactive obese men(P<0.05). These variables' reduction rate was more significant in all intervention groups than in the control group. However, the groups did not observe significant differences (P>0.05).Conclusions: Therefore, to lose weight, blood lipids, and liver enzymes, intend to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, probably, performing aerobic exercises along with taking Antom tablets has a greater effect in reducing lipid risk factors for cardiovascular disease. پرونده مقاله

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different levels of canola oil and diet mixing time length on performance, carcass traits and blood lipids in broilers. In this experiment 288 Ross-308 broilers were used from 11 up to 42 days as factorial arrangement (3×2) included three levels of canola oil (0, 3 and 6%) and two mixing time length (10 and 15 minute) in 6 treatments, 4 replicates and 12 birds in each replicate in a completely randomized design. Canola oil improved the performance of broilers (P<0.01). The highest values of daily weight gain, daily feed intake and final body weight were obtained using 6% of canola oil in diets. Mixing diet more than 10 minute, reduced the amounts of daily weight gain and final weight (P<0.05). In interaction between oil level and mixing time length, 6% canola oil × diet mixing for 10 minute, improved the performance of broilers (P<0.05). Dietary level of 6% canola oil increased the spleen percentage (P<0.05). Canola oil had reducing effect on the level of blood cholesterol (P<0.05). The lowest level of blood cholesterol was observed in group supplemented with 3% canola oil. Mixing diet more than 10 minute, increased the amount of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in blood (P<0.05). In interaction effect, the lowest level of blood cholesterol was seen in 6% canola oil × mixed for 10 minute group. The overall conclusion is that using 6% canola oil and 10 minute mixing time for boiler diets could significantly improve the performance, and reduce their blood cholesterol. پرونده مقاله

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different levels of saturated and unsaturated fats and their composition in growing and finishing periods on performance, carcass traits and blood lipids level in broiler chickens. In this experiment, 432 Ross 308 broilers were used from 11 up to 42 days in 9 treatments, 4 replicates and 12 birds in each replicate in growing (11-24 days) and finishing (25-42 days) periods in a completely randomized design. Treatments included: 1) control group (without fat), 2) 2% canola oil, 3) 4% Canola oil, 4) 2% beef tallow, 5) 4% beef tallow, 6) 2% canola oil + 2% beef tallow, 7) 4% canola oil + 2% beef tallow, 8) 2% canola oil + 4% beef tallow and 9) 4% canola oil + 4% beef tallow. In the growing period, different levels of fat sources had no significant effects on the performance of broilers. In the finishing period, the higher amounts of daily weight gain and final live weight were obtained in group 8 (P<0.05). In the whole feeding period, the best feed conversion ratio and final live weight were observed in group 8 (P<0.05). The lowest amount of intestine, abdominal, gizzard and liver weights belonged to control group (P<0.05). However, a difference was observed between the control group and group 8 in these respects. Using different levels of saturated and unsaturated fat in growing and finishing periods had no significant effect on the blood lipids level of broilers (P>0.05). The overall results indicated that in broilers, using mixing of saturated and unsaturated fats have beneficial effects on their performance. پرونده مقاله

This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of liquid metabolite (LM) produced by Lactobacillus plantarum and dietary putrescine (PUT) on growth, blood lipids, villus height (VH), crypt depth (CD) and polyamines (PAs) content of intestinal tissue and ileal digesta چکیده کامل
This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of liquid metabolite (LM) produced by Lactobacillus plantarum and dietary putrescine (PUT) on growth, blood lipids, villus height (VH), crypt depth (CD) and polyamines (PAs) content of intestinal tissue and ileal digesta in chickens. Six treatments, replicated six time each, were factorial arrangements of two levels of LM (0 and 0.3%) and three levels of dietary putrescine (0, 0.03 and 0.05%). Growth performance and PAs content of digesta and excreta (at 21 d) were measured, as well as small intestine VH and CD. Blood cholesterol, triglyceride and glucose were measured at 24, 33 and 40th d. Putrescine (0.05%) negatively affected body weight, feed conversion ratio and protein and energy efficiency ratio while increased duodenal VH significantly (P<0.05) as compared to the 0.03% putrescine. Aging was effective on blood cholesterol, triglyceride and glucose. Blood triglyceride decreased by 0.03% putrescine (P<0.05). Faecal spermidine was increased significantly (P<0.05) by 0.05% putrescine. Duodenal PAs declined in the chickens fed LM, whereas dietary putrescine had no effects on intestinal tissue polyamine. In conclusion, luminal PAs content was not affected by treatments. LM influenced intestinal tissue PAs but had no effects on growth and ileal digesta polyamine content. However, putrescine (0.05%) was harmful to the growth but increased duodenal VH. پرونده مقاله
