      One of the most frequently acknowledged personal behavioral traits in the biometric system is the handwritten exam. Numerous fields, including e-health, psychological issues, medical diag-nosis, and many more, can benefit from handwriting analysis. In this study, a handwriting-based computer diagnostic method for identifying neurodegenerative disorders is established. The sug-gested computer diagnosis system uses the SFTA feature extraction approach, and the findings are classified using SVM, kNN, and D-Tree algorithms. MATLAB R2021b and the handwritten tests gathered at Botucatu Medical School, So Paulo State University—Brazil—are used to assess the performance of the suggested computer diagnosis method. The best results were related into two models of classifier, Optimizable model of SVM and kNN. The accuracy, sensitivity and specificity are 89.2%, 88.3% and 90.0% for SVM and 89.2%,90.0% and 88.3% for kNN over Meander handwritten exam. These results indicate that the use of SFTA feature extraction method, SVM classification algorithm and handwritten database in the proposed computer diagnosis system give acceptable results. پرونده مقاله

      In the power system, any change in the input or any disturbance causes oscillations in frequency, voltage, and real and reactive power. The Power System Stabilizer (PSS) stands out as a re-nowned and effective equipment for damping power system oscillations, extensively explored in studies aimed at enhancing the dynamic stability of power systems. Challenges such as low-frequency fluctuations and the intricate nature of power systems have spurred the application of intelligent methods and optimization algorithms for addressing PSS-related issues. In this paper, a brief review of the studies conducted in the field of meta-heuristic optimization algorithms for PSS design is presented. Meta-heuristic methods are divided into three groups, and based on them, more than 200 articles have been studied in the field of PSS parameter optimization. The balance between exploration and exploitation is a common theme among all meta-heuristic meth-ods. Researchers and practitioners of meta-heuristic optimization methods belong to a wide range of audiences in the fields of power systems optimization, who will benefit from this research پرونده مقاله

      Several factors are affected images' contrast and eliminated details in images. Therefore, contrast enhancement is a critical process for any visual machine algorithms. To achieve this purpose, in this paper, a novel algorithm based on 2-D histogram and clipped histogram is introduced. To improve the performance of the algorithm, the histogram is divided into three sub-histograms based on mean and standard deviation. For each sub-histogram image, clipped histogram is calculated, separately. The threshold for clipping of histogram is obtained based on median of 2-D histogram of image. Based on the pervious researches we know that the desired distribution for 2-D histogram is Gaussian distribution. Hence, we introduce a novel iterative algorithm for transforming the available histogram to desired histogram. On the other words, our method modifies image histogram to improve its contrast. Our proposed method is based on Skewness, where algorithm is attempted to minimize the absolute value of Skewness. The performance of the algorithm is compared by several algorithms based on different factors. Simulation results indicate the proposed algorithm has the best performance than other algorithms. پرونده مقاله

      Energy consumption management is the one of the most important and fundamental issues in to-day's world. One of the sources of energy is the management of drinking water consumption. Considering the high per capita water consumption in Iran, it is the necessary to emphasize the increase of water productivity through measures such as demand management and water con-sumption and social enhancement. In this article, it deals with the design of the interaction model of the organization's human resources with the subscribers in order to optimize drinking water consumption in Qazvin Province Water and Wastewater Company. This research is the descrip-tive-analytical, and the research method is qualitative. The statistical population of this research is university experts and executive managers of water and sewage industry in Qazvin province, 11 people were selected using snowball sampling method and theoretical saturation point. The re-sults of this research are explained in the form of five main categories and subcategories. The findings showed Causal factors include social factors, individual factors, government bodies, senior managers, legal, legal and technical-engineering factors and other factors, contextual fac-tors include individual background conditions and socio-economic shortcomings. Intervening factors include "the way of thinking and support of managers, the performance of those in charge, and the will and desire of society", strategic factors include "correct and correct perfor-mance, continuous training at different levels and advertising and media information" and the consequences of the model are: Short-term outcomes, individual outcomes, long-term outcomes, national and regional outcomes. پرونده مقاله

      In the microgrids, it can be used from the renewable energy resources (RERs) such as photovolta-ic panels, wind turbines, wave energy converters and current type tidal turbines to reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission arisen from fossil fuel-based generation units. However, the generated electrical power of these RERs are dependent on the wave height and wave period, solar radiation, the wind speed, and the tidal current speed. Due to the wide variation in the RERs, the generated electrical power of these generation units changes a lot and so, to supply the local load in the isolated microgrid, the conventional generation units and the energy storage sys-tems (ESSs) can be utilized. In this paper, optimal scheduling of a microgrid containing conven-tional generation units, ESS and RERs including wind turbines, photovoltaic panels, current type tidal turbines and wave energy converters is performed to determine the generated power of each generation unit provided that the cost function is minimum. In the cost function, the operation cost of the generation units based on fossil fuel and the penalty cost associated to the load cur-tailment as the reliability cost are considered and using of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, the cost function is minimized. To study the capability and effectiveness of the pre-sented approach, the numerical results associated to the optimal scheduling of a microgrid con-taining battery, RERs, and conventional units are presented. پرونده مقاله

      This paper introduces and discusses a new control strategy for nonholonomic wheeled mobile robots (WMR). Robot models include kinematic and dynamic equations of motion. A barrier function adaptive terminal sliding mode control is used to control the movement of the robot. It considers sliding mode control (SMC) to deal with the dynamic model uncertainties of the chaos system, and uses a combination of SMC with an adaptive control approach to solve the upper boundaries problem of unknown model uncertainties and their estimation. Chattering is completely eliminated without over estimating the control gains by adopting an adaptive continuous barrier function in the dynamic switching function. Using the Lyapunov's stability theory, it was shown that the proposed scheme can guarantee the convergence of system states to the vicinity of the sliding surface in finite time. Additionally, the adoption of a sliding surface with a nonlinear and integral switching function resulted in removing the reaching phase of the sliding surface and yielding a controller that is robust to uncertainties from the start. The effectiveness of the proposed control method was assessed using three scenarios implemented to a Liu's uncertain chaotic system in MATLAB/Simulink environment. The obtained results confirmed the ability of the proposed approach to achieve continuous and smooth control rules for such chaotic systems. Among the main attributes of the proposed control method are its ability to completely eliminate chattering and yield a robust performance against model uncertainties and unknown external disturbances. پرونده مقاله

      Photovoltaic (PV) systems are widely used due to low maintenance costs and being non-pollutant. Selecting proper parameters for the inverter is essential for its stable performance. The inverter connected to the grid should be able to transfer maximum PV energy to the power grid. To have the complete transmission, the output current of the inverter should be synchronous with the voltage of the power network in terms of phase and frequency. The inverter affects the quality of the power generated by the PV and chaotic behavior can affect the performance of the PV system, negatively. Due to chaotic behavior, by determining the correlation coefficient, PV voltage and circuit parameters, phase and frequency can be synchronized. Therefore, in this paper, determining parameters of the inverter connected to the single-phase full-bridge PV system for phase and frequency synchronization is studied. To increase the accuracy of estimating system parameters and reduce synchronization error, the adaptive chaotic grey wolf Algorithm is used. In this research, using mixed research method (first, using the Meta-Synthesis Research Method, by combining qualitative findings of previous studies and combining different perspectives, a model in the process of smart contracts on the blockchain platform is presented and then for evaluation and analysis of the modeled, structural equations quantitative method and confirmatory factor analysis with Smart PLS3 software have been used.       In the present work, an improved buck-boost converter with the possibility of flexible design is introduced to gain required voltage and easily adapt to any wide-range-gain application. Switched-coupled-inductors are employed as the key in this converter to achieve the wide-range-gain buck-boost operation through adjusting their turn ratio. The set of coupled-inductors are integrated with the conventional ZETA converter to be used in place of buck-boost cell of its original circuit, which relies on ZETA converter. This converter increased the voltage gain degree of freedom to design a wide-range gain operation for any required application. In comparison with the conventional competitors, the proposed converter is required to use smaller passive components with lower voltage and current ratings for its semiconductors.       Renewable energy sources offer geographical opportunities for enhanced energy efficien-cy. However, the substantial integration of renewable energy production into distribution systems introduces uncertainties and technical complexities by impacting the network per-formance and protection mechanisms. Distributed generation (DG) enhances power grid efficiency, yet its influence on protection systems raises concerns about fault detection and isolation within active distribution networks. This study introduces a method to coordinate protection devices by inverter current control of distributed production sources during faults. The paper compares the impact of dispersed resources on flow dynamics during fault conditions. ETAP software simulations validate the proposed approach, addressing challenges in coordinating and regulating protection devices when integrating diverse re-sources into the network. This method restores coordination and enhances the reliability of protection systems. In summary, this research emphasizes the challenges of integrating re-newable energy into distribution systems, highlighting the need for effective protection co-ordination.       The traditional method for studying non-stationary signals is spectrogram based on the short-time Fourier transform (STFT). The well known limitation of the STFT is the inherent trade-off between time and frequency resolution. The Wigner-Ville (WV) distribution has the best time-frequency resolution, but its draw back is generating cross-terms. The matching pursuit (MP) distribution based on using the Gaussian atom is always positive, does not include cross-term, and has convenient resolution. In this paper, we have shown in addition to the known properties, the MP distribution can also remove the additive noise inherently. On the other words, we are able to remove the noise just by limiting the algorithm iterations and without paying any additional cost. Although the MP distribution based on using the Gaussian atoms is always positive and it has convenient resolution, according to the MP the time marginal and the frequency marginal will not be obtained accurately. In this paper, it has been shown that by implementing the minimum cross entropy (MCE) technique according to the MP distribution as a priory positive distribution, the new extracted distribution has the most similarity to the MP distribution and it also satisfies the correct time and frequency marginal. پرونده مقاله

      Listening to the sound signals of the heart is considered one of the most non-invasive and easy ways to diagnose the irregularities of the human heart, the correct analysis of which requires the knowledge and experience of a specialist doctor. The purpose of this paper is to design and implement a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system for detecting and classifying normal and abnormal heart sounds from phonocardiogram (PCG) signals. To perform experiments, the PhysioNet database was used. In the pre-processing step, noise and environmental disturbances in the PCG signals are removed using band-pass Butterworth filters. Then, discrete wavelet transforms (DWT), group-based Sparse, and tensor decomposition are used to extract features from PCG signals. Finally, the support vector machine (SVM), the k-nearest neighbors (KNN), naive Bayes (NB), the classification and regression tree (CART), and multi-layer perceptron (MLP) were used for the classification step. The employment of DWT, group-based sparse, and tensor decomposition for detection features is the novelty of this paper. The proposed method demonstrated better performance compared to other methods used in different papers. The proposed DWT, group-based sparse and tensor decomposition-NB method had a high accuracy rate of 95.3%. Also, the combination of PCG feature extraction methods increases the accuracy of the CAD system in diagnosing abnormal heart sounds. The proposed method in this paper uses different methods for extracting features, and their classification has high accuracy for abnormal sound detection. پرونده مقاله

      The fuel cell, especially its PEM type, is one of the most important sources of renewable energy, and considering the importance of energy in today's life, this paper presents a new solution to increase and optimize the output power of the PEM fuel cell. To extract the maximum power, the structure of PEM fuel cell equipped with boost converter is considered and this study presents the following innovations in this regard. To overcome the non-minimum phase and destabilizing nature of the boost converter, a hybrid robust control scheme is designed for the boost converter located at the output of the fuel cell stack. Two reset and adaptive sliding mode techniques in an innovative and hybrid design form the foundations of the planned scheme. Despite its simplicity, the reset technique has a high ability to eliminate the steady-state error, improve the transient and permanent dynamic response, and of course overcome the limitations of linear controllers. The planned sliding mode control technique is also an adaptive super twisting type, which is used to ensure the robustness and reliable performance of the controller against uncertainties and disturbances. The planned control scheme increases the power extracted from the PEM fuel cell by improving the performance of the boost converter and provides more efficiency than other techniques by stabilizing the output voltage from the PEM fuel cell and stack as well as ensuring stability. The outcomes of the implementation in the MATLAB environment and evaluation with the PI adaptive sliding mode method guarantee the efficiency and capability of the scheduled robust design. پرونده مقاله

      Nowadays, vehicles must be able to localize themselves in all environments, including urban areas and indoor environments where the performance of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) may be reduced. In the studies conducted so far in urban environments, an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and an extended Kalman filter (EKF) have been presented. For indoor environments, a light and range detection system (LiDAR) has been developed, which was more accurate than previous methods. However, the accuracy of diagnosis should be improved by providing newer methods. Therefore, in this article, in order to increase the accuracy of the position error of the internal navigation system, an integrated developed IMU/LiDAR Kalman filter was used, and then by optimizing the parameters of the Kalman filter and the gray wolf meta-heuristic algorithm, an attempt was made to reduce the position error. In order to check the performance of the presented method, the results before using the optimization algorithm and after the optimization were evaluated using three different paths. The obtained results, including position, speed, and direction show that the accuracy of the results increases by using the gray wolf algorithm compared to the conventional model. پرونده مقاله
