The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between social capital and knowledge management in girls' high schools in Tabriz city. In order to select a sample, the method of relative-interval sampling has been used. IN this study, five education districts have been considered as five intervals, and the sample has been chosen from these five districts relatively. The subjects of the research were 325 high school teachers. One of the tools of the study was the standard questionnaire of organizational knowledge (Fliss et. al, 2000) which measures the process of knowledge management based on 5 dimensions of acquiring knowledge, recording knowledge, transferring knowledge, creating knowledge, and applying knowledge in an organization. The other tool was the questionnaire of measuring the social capital (Nahapit and Goshal, 1998). After checking the validity and reliability of the tools, they were administered to the subjects, and the data were analyzed using the Peason formula. The results of the study showed that there is a significant relationship between social capital and knowledge management in girls' high schools in Tabriz. In addition, the results showed that there is a direct and significant relationship between social capital and the 5 components of knowledge management such as acquiring knowledge, recording knowledge, transferring knowledge, creating knowledge, and applying knowledge.
