In recent years, the excessive use of existing water resources and subsequent droughts, have led irrigation water resources quantitatively and qualitatively changes. Water quality is one of the most important determinants for its use in various water uses. Therefore water quality management and monitor are important. In this study, the water resources quality of Siuki area of Torbat-Heydarieh city was investigated according to the water resources chemical analysis used in agricultural sector consist of sugar factory wastewater, refined urban wastewater, Qanat and well (a total of 10 wells with crop use) during 2009-2013 years and Wilcox diagram, permeability index (I), SAR, chorine and sodium percentage and other cations and anions were studied. The results showed that the salinity of the wastewater was equal to 20000 mmhos/cm and in the (C4) class. According to the Wilcox and SAR, most of the samples were in C4S1 and in the middleclass. Based on the results, all of the water resources, both conventional and unconventional of the studied area are suitable for agricultural uses, but for the plant wastewater, more should be taken for agricultural and crop production. Subterranean tunnel-wells (qanat,s) are extremely  important in the history of irrigation and human settlement in the arid lands of the Old Word. Apparently originating in pre- Achaemenid Persia, tunnel-wells spread to Egypt, the Levant, and Arabia in Achaemenid times (550-331 B.C). The Arabs carried Qanats across North Africa in to Spain and Cyprus; they are also found in central Asia, western China, and on a more limited scale in dry regions of Latin America. In modern times, more than tewenty terms are used to identify these horizontal wells; the Arabic word qanat meaning "lance" or "conduit" is used in iran , the Persian terms "KARIS" is used in Afghanistan, while in Syria, Palestine, and North Africa Fuqard (pronounced foggarra) is the most common term. In all of these regions, tunnel-wells are still being constrcted in the traditional manner, and many sttlements depend on them for irrigation and domestic water. Where used, qanats have stongly influenced village sotio- economic organization and patterns of ownership and tenure.   Manuscript profile

Escherichia coli as a fecal contamination and is considered as an index in water. The aim of this study was to determine the phenotypic and genotypic characteristics of E. coli and antibiotic resistance of the isolates collected from qanats and springs in East-Azerbaijan province. For this purpose, 118 samples were selected from above mentioned area and examined by MPN method. The positive coliform samples were identified by phenotypic and genotypic methods. Afterwards, to determine the genetic diversity of E. coli isolates, phylogenetic typing we conducted by means of multiplex PCR. To determine the antibiotic resistance profile, antibiotic discs of Nalidixic Acid, Co-trimoxazol, Amoxicillin, Gentamaicin Ciprofloxacin, Chloramphenicol, Imipenem, Cefotaxime and Ceftazidime antibiogram were used. Based on results, 48% of the samples were evaluated as positive for coliform including 40% for E. coli and 19% for Klebsiella. Amongst 23 isolates confirmed as E. coli by PCR. Phylogenetic typing revealed  that 44% of E. coli strains belonged to type D and B2 and 56% belonged to A and B1 phylotypes. Antimicrobial susceptibility pattern showed that 92% of E. coli isolates were resistant to Amoxicillin. All E. coli isolates were sensitive to Imipenem. It was concluded that presence of pathogenic E. coli with high rate of antibacterial resistance in waters source could be considered as a human health hazard. Manuscript profile

Considering the importance of water and its role in the formation of civilizations, the investigation of one of the water structures called Qanat can show the effect of this structure in the continuation of life. In the central plateau of Iran, due to the hot and dry climate, the aqueduct has been used as a solution for exploiting underground water for a long time. Others such as mills and reservoirs, glaciers, etc. were created, which are known as urban elements of the desert fabric. The main purpose of this research is to investigate the aqueducts of Siraf city and choose the best aqueduct for investment and restoration. In this regard, by using various parameters such as the length of the aqueduct, the diameter of the ring of the aqueduct, the distance from the city, safety, the amount of water flow, these parameters are checked in the Fuzzy ANP methods in the Super Decision software by giving them weight according to All the different parameters and related maps are analyzed using geographic information system and the best aqueduct is selected for investment. The results indicate that Dubai's criteria with rank 1 has the highest priority for restoration and reconstruction. 7) and depth (8) are in the next priorities. Manuscript profile

Sampling using sachuck net (having 2 mm holes ) and other possible tools was conducted according to the condition of the environment. The samples were fixed in %10 formalin and after transferring to the laboratory, they were recognized using reliable recognition keys based on the required standards. 10 fish species of Alburnoides, Capoeta and Carassius genus were recognized from 516 samples taken Manuscript profile
