The value of a brand lies in its associations with specific mindset and perception of its use in context. In this research, brand social power is considered as the perception that customers have about brandspecifications in the process of making purchasing decisions. Using French and Raven (1959)typology of social influence, five social power bases of brand are identified which correspond to theiroriginal power bases. Assuming the ability of brands to meet various social needs of customers, markets can be segmented, and the target segments can be identified on the basis of those needs. Therefore, referring to Hersey and Blanchard’s situational leadership theory, the readiness levels ofemployees (followers) are generalized to the subjective readiness levels of customers in order toobtain a new indicator for market segmentation, so that, according to each level, we can focus on asingle social power dimension in our market positioning strategies. This research aims to identify theeffect of brand social dimensions based on subjective readiness levels on the purchasing decision ofcustomers. In this survey-descriptive study using random classified sampling, information wasobtained from 382 students using a valid and reliable questionnaire. Structural equation modelingbased on partial least squares was used to analyze data and test the hypotheses. The results suggest thatthe effect of brand social power dimensions based on different levels of customer subjective readinesson purchasing decisions vary. Manuscript profile

Researchers have demonstrated that COO image influences the consumer’s evaluation of products in general, specific classes of products, and specific brands. Since Schooler’s (1965) seminal article the effect of country-of-origin biases on consumer attitudes has been an issue of continuing interest. Over the past four decades the attention of researchers has continuously shifted as new challenges presented themselves. A key challenge is the investigation of potential variables that moderate the influence of COO. IN this article we study the effect of COO on consumer behavioral intentions and product evaluation. The emphasis of this study is to clarify how product familiarity and product involvement can moderate the importance that consumers place on COO image when they evaluate products for purchase or consumption. This research is a descriptive and correlation study based on a survey with applied objective. The statistic population is home appliances consumers in Qazvin. Data were gathered via a questionnaire from the sample size of 384.The study findings show that COO image has direct effect on product evaluation and consumer behavioral intentions. Moreover, study findings show that consumers consider COO image to be more important for their product evaluations when they evaluate products from more familiar product categories and are more involved with the products that they are evaluating. We hope these findings help internal and external companies’ managers to be aware of the factors that effect on product evaluation and help them to make better decisions.  Manuscript profile

Information and Communication Technology(ICT) is an inter-disciplinary expertise domain that is used to establish long-distance connections, to make information accessible and to avoid its accumulation and monopoly(Sharify, 1383). In the high-tech era, the sustainable wealth of a nation is its skilled and creative human resource. The advancement of any society depends on its intellectuals(David Elson,1377). Since human resources are more affected by ICT and media, it is obvious that the countries which manage to provide themselves with advanced human resources will make their wealth sustainable and lasting|(Karam Pur, 1382). Education, which is up-to-date, is the key to have skilled and innovative human resource(David Elson,1377). Today, the use of high-tech to facilitate learning and its effect on educational achievement of students has been emphasized in higher education(Pur Jamshidy). The present research studies the effect of introducing Information and Communication Technology(ICT) on the educational development of the students of psychology at Islamic Azad University, Roodhen Branch.  160 students participated in the research. A researcher-made questionnaire was used and the results were analyzed using SPSS to determine the effect of familiarity(low-high) with ICT and sex on educational achievement of both make and female students. Factor analysis, independent-group t-test, and ANOVA techniques were employed. It was determined that sex did not have any effect on educational achievement. This research, is done by using survey-descriptive method and aims to study students' familiarity and use of library services in Karaj Islamic Azad University. The research population is composed of 400 students out of 20000 students and after distributing the questionnaire (including 17 closed and 2 open-ended questions) as data collection tool, among them, 369 ones were returned. The findings of the research demonstrate that there is a meaningful reverse co-relation between the students' familiarity with the libraries and the library services and resources (R = 4.054), but there is a meaningful co-relation between their unfamiliarity with the library departments and using accessible library resources (R = 0.0507). There is also meaningful co-relation between students' expectation rate (R = 0.615) expectations and knowing how to use the library. The findings also indicate that 63.1 percent of students are the library members. 71.8 percent of students use the library for reading needed textbooks. The library resources are not up-to-date and there is also lack of library resources (57 percent). The students are not skillful in using library sources (49 percent). The students need to take part in some courses to learn how to use library (75.3 percent). The students make use of computer for searching (61.8 percent). The students are not urged by the professors to use the library resources (58 percent). It is notable that research hypothesis has not been confirmed. Finally some suggestions have been offered for the present and the future.     Manuscript profile
