The study was conducted on 29 horses with strangles and 27 normal horses (negative culture) to evaluate serum levels of sialic acid, total protein and albumin in the Tabriz area. Patients were confirmed based on clinical and laboratory signs. Blood samples were tacked from jugular vein and were separated serum for measuring of total protein, albumin and sialic acid (total sialic acid, lipid bound sialic acid and protein bound sialic acid) levels in the serum. Mean levels of total protein in horses with strangles was higher than control group significantly (P= 0.000). But the mean serum albumin level in the patient group was higher than the control group of horses no significantly (p= 0.208). In the patient group increasing of total sialic acid, lipid bound sialic acid and protein bound sialic acid were significant (P= 0.000, P= 0.000 and P= 0.001 respectively). The correlation between serum parameters in the patient group was found that only the relationship between serum total protein with lipid bound sialic acid is significant (r = 0.521 and P= 0.004) and between the another serum parameters is not significant. In conclusion, strangles causes an increase in serum levels of sialic acid. Therefore, this issue must be considered in the treatment of these patients. Manuscript profile

In the present study, the forced convection of alumina-water nanofluid over three staggered circular cylinder inside a magnetic field is investigated. The Navier Stokes and the energy equations are discretized using the finite elements method. An experimental model as a function of temperature, the nanoparticles diameter, and the volume fraction of the nanofluid is utilized for calculating the viscosity and the conductivity coefficient of the nanofluid. The ranges of the main parameters, including the Reynolds numbers, the Hartman numbers, the volume fractions of the nanofluid and the angles of magnetic field are 100≤Re≤200, 0≤Ha≤100, 0≤fe≤0.06 and gama=0ᵒ,90ᵒ, respectively. The results of the stream lines, the average Nusselt number of the first and the second rows of tubes and the average Nusselt number of the three circular cylinders are presented and discussed. The results show that using of the nanoparticles increases the heat transfer. Also, utilizing of the magnetic field causes flow discipline and initially reduces the heat transfer; but with increasing of the magnetic field, the heat transfer increases. Manuscript profile

Strangles is a prevalent infectious and contagious disease among Equidae that is caused by Streptococcus equi subspecies equi. This study was conducted on 184 horses that were studied in terms of carrying S. equi and its frequency among the horse population kept in equestrian clubs around Tabriz. The serum samples were collected from different equestrian clubs and were assayed using an iELISA (Indirect Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) test for anti-SeM antibody in Streptococcus equi. The relative frequency of carriers was 53.3% in stallions and 24.5% in mares (p<0.001). The seroprevalence of carriers was 95% in horses with a record of respiratory disease and 39.6% in horses without respiratory disease (p<0.001). The seroprevalence of carriers was 68.2% in Kurd breed horses, 37.1% in the Arabian breed, 64% in crossbreed, and 80% in the Thoroughbred breed (p<0.05). Any significant relationship was not found between carriers and age (p>0.05). The results of Chi-squared test showed that the most positive results were observed in Arpadresi area of Tabriz city (p<0.001). The present investigation is the first study in the city of Tabriz, and the results show the lack of proper hygiene and the existence of stable carriers at the level of equestrian clubs. Strangles is a prevalent infectious and contagious disease among Equidae that is caused by Streptococcus equi subspecies equi. The present study was performed on patient and healthy horses to evaluate serum levels of vitamin C (vitamin C), vitamin E (vitamin E), selenium (Sel) and glutathione peroxidase (GPx). Clinical signs and bacterial culture confirmed sixty patient horses. To separate the serum, blood samples were taken from the jugular vein of the studied horses. Blood samples were also taken from 52 healthy horses with similar conditions (age, diet, etc.). Serum levels of Vit E, Vit C, Se and serum’s activity of GPx were measured in samples taken from healthy and patient horses. The mean serum concentration of vitamin E, selenium and serum glutathione peroxidase activity in patient horses were significantly reduced. A significant increase in the patient's hemoglobin concentration was observed. The study of the relationship between serum selenium and antioxidants (serum glutathione peroxidase activity, vitamin E and hemoglobin) showed that increasing serum selenium also increased the antioxidants studied. Serum antioxidant markers were significant in patient horses in all three cases. The final outcome is that in horses which infected to strangles antioxidants like selenium, glutathione peroxidase and vitamin E reduced and these antioxidant intakes for dealing with them this issue should be considered in treating these patients. In this study, a system has been designed and simulated to track sunlight, which identifies sun location based on the exact relations of solar angles and without any optical sensor. In fact the relations which have been used in this study are far more accurate compared to similar cases, because of using the "equation of time" and reducing the tracking time of every 15 minutes. In this system, an economical micro-controller has been used to generate the necessary orders to control system and two stepper motors for powering solar array. By adding a real-time clock IC (RTC) to angle differentiation circuit, dynamic plane has improved. Manuscript profile

Human spirit in his trans-substantial and intensifying motion toward ascending ark (qaws su‘ūdi) goes up to a level in which he deserves to receive some kinds of internal impulses (khawatir). These internal impulses are divided into two types: some of them come from God which are revealed to man’s heart and are called divine inspiration (ilhām) and others come from evil sources and are called evil inspiration or temptation (ilqā’). Divine inspiration occurs either through a mediator or directly and without mediator. Therefore, the mediated inspiration are mediated or explained by a mediator, usually an angel. Ilqā’, the exact opposite of ilhām, is a demonic inspiration. The straggle between angelic and demonic forces, in man’s heart, is an unending straggle. Dhikr (reciting the names of God) pushes the demonic forces away so the angelic ones will become dominant. It happens when all forces of man’s soul completely cooperate with each other, under the dominance of Divine Power (quwwa qudsīya). But when man’s soul engages in sensual desires and ignores God’s remembering the estimative faculty (quwwa wahmīya) will become dominant and it provides an opportunity for demonic forces. This straggle will continue until one side triumph over the other. However, in most people, because of the dominance of sensual desires, evil forces will become victorious. Manuscript profile

Alzheimer's disease is a type of brain dysfunction in which the patient's mental abilities, including memory gradually decline. The formation of neurofibrillary tangles inside neurons caused by hyperphosphorylation of tau proteins is a major cause of dementia-related diseases such as Alzheimer's. The aim of this study was to study tau protein in the brain and tau gene expression in both the serum level and brain tissue of Wistar Alzheimer's rats treated with probiotic strains of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium purified from yogurt. In this study, 30 adult male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (n = 6): The control group, the group of Alzheimer's-induced rats, the Sham group, and the two experimental groups in which the Alzheimer's-induced rats received the probiotic strains Limosilactobacillus reuteri and Bifidobacterium longum at a dose of 2.5 × 109 CFU for one month, respectively. Tau gene expression and protein were analyzed by Real Time PCR and histopathology, respectively. The results of this study showed that both strains, especially Bifidobacterium longum, were able to reduce Tau gene expression in brain tissue and blood serum compared to Alzheimer's group. Also, both strains, especially Bifidibacterium longum, exhibited capability in inhibiting Tau neurofibrillary tangles. It seems that the probiotic strains Limosilactobacillu sreuetri and Bifidobacterium longum can be good candidates for reducing the Tau gene expression as well as Tau neurofibrillary tangles in Alzheimer's disease. This article provides a brief introduction to the story of creation of man.  God commands the  angels to bring some dust from the earth and that among them only the angle of death succeeds to grant God’s command by deceiving the earth.  This story is included in the fifth book of Masnavi and Najm Razi’s Mersad-al-ebad for two entirely different purposes.  Mowlana first speaks of the issue of good and evil and concludes that the earth’s refusal of the God’s command was for the reason not to be involved with the issue of good and evil whereas Najm Razi believes the reason to be the fear of close proximity to God stating that I have chosen the ultimate distance in order to be safe from the fear of closeness.  In this narrative, interesting subtle points from both Mowlana and Najm Razi on subjects such as virtues of heart and soul, and characteristic features of angles are presented.
