Service-learning is a kind of teaching strategy which would help in enriching learning experiences as well as strengthening communication skills of students. The chief Purpose of this paper is to know what the agricultural students’ viewpoints are toward services-learning. This research, in terms of paradigm is quantitative and in terms of aim is practical. It is also descriptive considering the data processing. Composed of 143 students – randomly selected by Kergesy-Morgan table-out of 170, the statistical population are of the B.A and M.A. students of Agricultural education and development of Razi University.The data has been gathered via researcher- made questionnaire. The validity of the questioner has been determined by the prevailing resources and the professors of Razi University and its reliability – being 78%- has been calculated via Coronbach's Alfa coefficient. What being shown from the result is that students relatively have positive attitude toward service-learning. They say that in order to put this project into practice, each and every one's responsibility should be clearly designed. The result also reveals that those not having the experience of team-working are more eager to learn about the t- test service. The result also can be very helpful in improving the quality of education as well as agricultural learning and development.

هدف پژوهش حاضر، تحلیل روند مقالات علمی و پژوهشی حوزه آموزش کشاورزی بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش را تمام مقالات آموزش کشاورزی که طی سال­های 92 تا 96 در سه مجله علمی – پژوهشی به چاپ رسیدند، تشکیل داد (N= 198) و با استفاده از سرشماری، تمام مقالات مطالعه و بررسی شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده­ها از نرم­افزارهای SPSS و EXCEL استفاده شد. یافته­­ها نشان داد که امتیاز مجله­های مورد مطالعه طی سال­های مورد بررسی افزایش یافته است که این امر نشان­دهنده بهبود کیفی مجله­های مورد مطالعه است. از نظر روند تعداد مقالات چاپ شده حوزه آموزش کشاورزی نسبت به دیگر حوزه­ها، نتایج حاکی از آن بود که مقالات آموزش کشاورزی، به استثنای رشدی که در سال 94 داشتند؛ دارای روند کاهشی بودند. بیشترین تعداد نویسنده مربوط به مقالات با سه نویسنده بود. برطبق یافته­ها: بیشترین نرم­افزار مورد استفاده اس.پی.اس.اس، بیشترین روش تحقیق مورد استفاده روش کمی، بیشترین ابزار گردآوری داده­ها پرسشنامه، و بیشترین منبع گردآوری دانشجو بود. همچنین، بیشترین حیطه موضوعی مربوط به کیفیت آموزش، تدریس و یادگیری بود. در نهایت و براساس یافته­های به­دست آمده، پیشنهاد می­شود پژوهش­های کاربردی و توسعه­ای با درنظر گرفتن نیازهای پژوهشی بازارکار، صنعت و جامعه به انجام برسد.

اعتقاد صاحبنظران بر این است که یکی از راه­های گریز از ناکارآمدی فارغ­التحصیلان دانشگاهی بهویژه فارغالتحصیلان کشاورزی، بازنگری در دورههای عملی بخصوص کارآموزی و دگرگونی و اصلاح آن است. با توجه به این مهم پژوهش حاضر با هدف طراحی الگویی برای دوره کارآموزی در نظام آموزش عالی کشاورزی ایران با استفاده از تکنیک دلفی انجام گرفت. مبنای فکری این پژوهش مدل ده مرحله ای آکر بود. جامعه پژوهش اعضای هیأت علمی(N=34) دانشگاه های کشاورزی دارای واحد کارآموزی و کارفرمایانی(N=63) بودند که دانشجویان جهت گذراندن دوره­های کارآموزی به آنها مراجعه می­نمودند. نتایج پژوهش از دید اعضای هیأت علمی و کارفرمایان پس از سه فاز دلفی، گویه­هایی را جهت ده مؤلفه دوره های کارآموزی یعنی منطق، مقاصد و اهداف، محتوا، فعالیت­های یادگیری، نقش مدرس، مواد و منابع، گروه­بندی، مکان، زمان و سنجش و ارزشیابی مشخص نمود که مبنای تشکیل الگوی کارآموزی قرار گرفت.

This study concerns determining the factors that may influence the communication skill of those university teachers involved in the field of agricultural sciences in Iran. Accordingly, based on a cross-sectional survey method, a conceptual model of communication skill has been devised through reviewing the related literature. Next, the model was revised by the expert panel of the study into a seven-factor model with 58 variables. Then, this revised model was transformed into a questionnaire. Once the expert panel studied, revised and at last confirmed the questionnaire, it was submitted to the subjects, around 234 university teachers of agricultural sciences selected randomly from some main universities in Iran. In order to run Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA), the obtained data were analyzed by SPSS software (version 16.00). Consequently, EFA explained three factors such as naturalness, eloquentness and emotionalness as the main effectiveones on teaching agriculture in the universities of Iran. Finally, it is worth mentioning that naturalness comprised six variables, eloquentness was consisted of eight variables and emotionalness concerned three variables.

The academic achievement of students has been a focus of social research for decades. Yet little attention has been paid to social capital and its importance as a university context factor for academic success. We examine whether social capital has effects on students’ academic achievement. The population of this study consisted of all senior agricultural students of Razi University at Iran (N=257), that 154 of them were selected as the sample using the proportionate stratified sampling method. The main instrument in this study was a questionnaire which its validity was confirmed by a panel of experts and its reliability was established by Cronbach's Alpha coefficient (α>0.70). Data was analyzed by SPSS Win22 and LISREL 8.80 software in two phases of descriptive and inferential statistics. Results of structural equation modeling indicated that social capital was the main predictor of agricultural students’ academic achievement. Findings of this study can have practical implications concerning agricultural students’ academic achievement for higher agricultural education mangers, planners and educators.

Integrating natural resources management in the secondary school curriculum in Kenya has received a lot of talk without adequate practical activities. The Farmers of the Future Programme under the World Agroforestry Centre, formally the International Centre for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF), initiated a practical approach to integration of natural resources management in the secondary school curriculum in Kenya. This paper provides information on significant findings of a study that was carried out to determine the potential of FoF in integrating natural resources management into the secondary school curriculum in Kenya. A comparison between secondary school students who are involved in FoF programme and those not involved was done to determine their perceptions towards natural resources management. Further, comparison of perceptions by gender among learners who are involved in the FoF initiative was done. The study employed an ex-post-facto design in data collection using questionnaires. Questionnaires and were analysed using t-test at alpha=0.05. The findings indicated that the FoF programme had a significant influence on learners’ perceptions towards natural resources management. It was therefore concluded that FoF programme enhanced positive perceptions towards natural resources management among learners. On the basis of the findings, it was recommended that the FoF programme be expanded to cover more schools.

This paper aims to discover the determinants of farmers’ par-ticipation in horticulture-based Education programs in the Western Azerbaijan province, Iran. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the study also tries to make a comparison between participants and non-participants, who have achieved in this program. A sample of 231 farmers (137 participants and 94 non-participants) was selected based on a stratified random sampling method. Data gathering instrument was a questionnaire that its validity was approved by a group of experts and its reliability was confirmed by calculating Cronbach's alpha (α=0.71). The results showed that, there were significant differences between participants and non-participants in agricultural education programs in terms of all the TPB contexts. Additionally, the results of the regression analysis showed that attitude to how thinking and decision and subjective norms were the best deter- minants of farmers’ participation.

The main purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting entrepreneurial motivations of agricultural students at Razi University. Statistical population of this study consisted of all agricultural undergraduate students (senior) (N=186), that 164 of them were selected as research sample using proportionate stratified sampling method. The main instrument in this study was questionnaire which its validity was confirmed by the panel of experts and its reliability was established by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Data was analyzed by SPSSWin20 software. Findings revealed that agricultural students at Razi University have the entrepreneurial motivations at moderate to high level. In addition, multiple regression analysis showed that three variables including the attitude toward entrepreneurship, the role model, and the courses of entrepreneurship education can be explaining 35.5 percent of variances of the student's entrepreneurial motivations. Results of this study have applications for planners of higher agricultural education system in order to improving the agricultural student's entrepreneurial motivations.

هدف از انجام این پژوهش تحلیل عوامل مؤثر بر تحول آفرینی نظام آموزش کشاورزی در ایران است. جهت این پژوهش از یک روش ترکیبی استفاده شده است. جامعه آماری این مطالعه شامل همه اعضای هیات علمی شاغل به تدریس در دانشکده های کشاورزی دانشگاه تهران، تربیت مدرس و شیراز (N= 361) می باشند که 186 عضو هیات علمی (n= 186) با استفاده از روش نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه ای به عنوان نمونه تحقیق انتخاب شدند و نهایتا 166 پرسشنامه بازگشت خورد و مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. جمع آوری داده ها در این پژوهش در دو بخش انجام گردید. بخش اول روش فراترکیب بود. در این روش عوامل مؤثر بر تحول آفرینی از بررسی اهداف، روش های نمونه گیری، روش شناسی تحقیق، تحلیل محتوا، و نتایج به کار رفته در 25 منبع منتخب، شناسایی شدند. نتایج این تجزیه و تحلیل ها مشخص نمود که پنج فاکتور اصلی مؤثر در تحول آموزشی ایران عبارتند از یادگیری، آموزش و تدریس، صلاحیت ها، کیفیت آموزشی و رهبری. بخش دوم به منظور آزمون فرضیات با استفاده از روش مدل سازی معادلات ساختاری (SEM) استفاده شد. نتایج این بخش نشان داد که مدل های یادگیری جدید، سبک های رهبری و صلاحیت های آموزشی، پر تاثیر ترین فاکتورها در تحول آموزشی بودند.

The Farmers of the Future (FoF) initiative implemented a programme of integrating natural resources management in the basic education curriculum. The purpose of the study was to document activities and determine the effects of FoF programme on primary school learners’ perceptions towards natural resources management by comparing learners involved in the FoF programme and those not involved. Further, comparison of perceptions by gender among learners involved in the FoF was done. The study employed an ex-post-facto design. The location of the study was the western region of Kenya. The sample was composed of 120 learners and 6 teachers, making a total of 126 respondents. This was in accordance with recommendations by Kathuri and Pals (1993). The data were collected using questionnaires and analysed using t-test at alpha=0.05. The instruments were validated by two experts in the Department of Agricultural Education and Extension at Egerton University and one expert from ICRAF. Reliability was tested through pilot testing and indicated a reliability coefficient of 0.72 The findings indicated that the FoF programme had a significant influence on learners’ positive perceptions towards natural resources management thus the programme forms an integral part in sustainable agriculture.
