        1 - Identifying Factors Affecting Positive Leadership among School Principals

        Purpose: The ability of positive leadership can create a competitive advantage for the organization. As a result, the current research was conducted with the aim of identifying the effective factors on positive leadership among school principals. Method: This study in terms of purpose was applied and in terms of implementation method was qualitative. The research population was education specialists and experts in the field of educational management and leadership in Fars province, which 16 people of them were selected as a sample according to the principle of theoretical saturation. The research tool was a semi-structured interview with four questions, which was conducted individually, and in addition to the notes of concept, the audio of the interviews was recorded for review. It should be noted that the validity of the interviews was confirmed by the triangulation method and its reliability was calculated by the 20-day test-retest method 77% and by the agreement coefficient method between two coders 79%. Data were analyzed by coding method in MAXQDA software. Findings: In this study present there were 7 women (equivalent with 43.75 percent) and 9 men (equivalent with 56.25 percent) which the education level of 8 people (equivalent with 50 percent) had a master's degree and 8 people (equivalent with 50 percent) had a PhD. The findings showed that the effective factors on positive leadership among school principals were included 30 concepts in three individual factors (with 11 concepts), organizational factor (with 13 concepts) and environmental factor (with 6 concepts). Finally, the pattern of effective factors on positive leadership among school principals was drawn. Conclusion: Considering the identified effective factors on positive leadership among school principals and the drawn pattern for it, education specialists and planners can take an effective step towards improving and promoting leadership and create a competitive advantage for their organization.         This research aimed to determine predicting the social health based on psychological well-being, organizational citizenship behavior and social support in school managers. This study was a cross-sectional from type of correlation. The research population was all school managers of Tehran city in 2019-20 academic years. The research sample was 400 people who were selected by multistep cluster sampling method. In present study used from the questionnaires of social health (Keyes, 1998), psychological well-being (Ryff, 1989), organizational citizenship behavior (Organ & Kanovsky, 1996) and social support (Zimet & et al, 1988). Data analyzed by methods of Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with enter model in SPSS-22 software. The results showed that psychological well-being, organizational citizenship behavior and social support had a positive and significant relationship with social health in school managers.         Abstract Background: in the modern world, knowledge and its management is one of the most important necessities of every educational institute where managers play vital roles. Objective:The present study has investigated the relationship between managerial skills and knowledge management mediated by creative thinking among Isfahan high school managers and teachers in the educational year, 94-95. Method:The school managers and teachers of high schools constitute the population of this research. The research enjoyed an applied and a correlational-descriptive method. The sampling was a proportional classified to size. To calculate the samples' size, Cookran formula and Morgan tables were used. 185 managers answered to Torrence's creative thinking questionnaire by 0.88 reliability and 370 teachers answered to managerial skills and knowledge management questionnaires based on Katz and Nonnka's theory by 0.97 reliability. The collected data were analyzed by Lizerel and SPSS software. Results:The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between managerial skills and knowledge management in p Conclusion: implementation of knowledge management system requires managerial skills.         this research was conducted whit the aim explaining situation of transformational leadership and its relationship with innovative behavioral of smart schools managers. The research method is descriptive-correlation. The study population includes all smart elementary and high schools teachers that was 935 persons of district 1 and 2 of Uremia city. Among them we selected sample of 272 people by using Multi-stage cluster sampling method. For data collection we have used questionnaire of transformational leadership properties measurement due to bass and Avolio theory (2000) and questionnaire of innovative behavioral measurement of canter (1988). Validity of questionnaires was confirmed by using Face validity method And reliability coefficients for transformational leadership and innovative behavior has been determined to be 92% and 95% by using Cronbach's alpha method. the results were statistically analyzed by using two methods: descriptive (such as frequency, frequency persentage, Average and ....) and Inferential (such as one- sample t test,Pearson's correlation coefficient, Regression, One-way analysis of variance). The results represented that in most teachers point of view , smart schools managers transformational leadership and inovative behaviour charistristics were at moderate level. There is a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership variable on one side and its five-dimensional on the other side and innovative behavioral of smart schools managers in level of confidence 99%. Among five leadership components, mental persuasion played the most important role in prognosticating innovative behavior and ideal charistristics was in second priority. Manuscript profile

        The present study investigates the relationship between managers’ managerial knowledge and organizational effectiveness and well-being of high schools in Mashhad. To do this, two independent samples were studied. To measure the managers’ managerial knowledge, of among the population, a sample of 40 was selected. To measure the organizational effectiveness and well-being of high schools, of the population of teachers, a sample of 200 was selected. The present research is of survey type, and three questionnaire were used to measure each variable.         The main objective of this study was to examine the relationship between the leadership styles of state school managers (based upon Linker's theory) with the secondary teacher job satisfaction. The research methodology was descriptive-correlation. The statistical population for this study included the entire 37 school manager's of Parsabad city and all the 413 high school teachers of Parsabad. Sing Morgan table, the sample size was 32 managers and the teachers sample size was (5 teachers per each manager) added up to 160 people. The sampling method was random sampling. The data was collected through two questionnaires: Smith, Kendall, and Holins job satisfaction questionnaire, and a researcher made questionnaire regarding Likerts leadership styles. The following results were achieved: 1- There was no significant relationship between managers' autocratic leadership styles and teachers' job satisfaction. 2- There was significant relationship between managers' benevolent leadership styles and teachers' job satisfaction significant. 3- There was significant relationship between managers' consultative leadership styles and teachers` job satisfaction. 4- There was significant relationship between managers' participative leadership styles and teachers` job satisfaction 5-The average use of consultative and participative leadership styles was higher than other leadership styles. 6- Some 74% percent of the teachers reported job satisfaction. 7.         The main objective of this study was to examine the relationship between the managers’ communicative skills and schools organizational health in Parsabad. The research method was descriptive- correlation. The statistical population included all the managers and teachers in Prasabad which added to 157 manager and 1323 teachers. Using Cochran's Formula the sample size was 76 manager and 380teachers (five teachers for each manager). The sampling method was random sampling. The data were collected through two standardized questionnaires including Barton E. G. communicative skill questionnaire and Hoy et al. organizational health questionnaire. The data were analyzed through SPSS software and descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicated that there was direct and meaningful relationship between managers’ communicative, speech, listening, and Feedback skills with the schools organizational health.         The current research has been conducted with the aim of designing and evaluating the model of professional ethics of principals of the first secondary schools of Fars province. The method of this research was carried out by adopting a mixed approach and using a sequential exploratory method of the instrument-making type. The statistical population of this research in the qualitative part included all principals of the first secondary schools in Fars province. Among them, 17 people were selected by purposive sampling and using the theoretical saturation method.In the quantitative part of the research, the statistical population of the research included 1020 principals of first secondary schools in Fars province, of which 302 were selected as the sample size, based on Morgan's table, using stratified random sampling. In the qualitative part of the research, the data collection tool was a semi-structured interview, and in the quantitative part of the research, the questionnaire of the components of the professional ethics of managers was used in the quantitative part of the research to evaluate the principals of the first year of high school in Fars province. The reliability of the questionnaire is 99/ through Cronbach's alpha. The findings were obtained based on the network of themes of the components of professional ethics of the principals of the first secondary schools of Fars province, in the qualitative section including 4 inclusive themes including individual-personality factors, professional competences, organizational factors and environmental factors and 14 organizing themes including They were value, attitude, disciplinary, technical knowledge, responsibility, empathy, interpersonal relations, managerial-strategic, managerial-specialized, managerial-operational, managerial-communicative, political-legal, social-cultural, and information technology. The results showed that the factors affecting the professional ethics of managers have a significant impact on the behavior of school managers. It is necessary to seriously consider this matter by those involved in the educational system. Manuscript profile
