Background and Objective: Today, due to the occurrence of environmental crises, having environmental knowledge and attitude for students, considering their effective role in society, is essential. Environmental knowledge increases sensitivity to environmental issues, and environmental attitudes lead to active participation in environmental protection, as it reinforces values and concerns about the environment. So the main goal of this study is to investigate the environmental knowledge and attitude levels of Payame Noor students.Material and Methodology:  The statistical population consists of all the students of the Lavasanat, Tehran Jonoob and Shahr Rey units of Tehran Payame Noor university (N=12306). Based on Krejcie and Morgan's table, a sample of 385 students was chosen and data was collected based on a standardized three-part questionnaire (demographic, knowledge, attitude) that was used in similar studies and its validity has been confirmed by the experts in the field and Cronbach's alpha for reliability assessment for knowledge and attitude items were 0.70 and 0.81 respectively.Findings: Based on the results, students' environmental knowledge is at a high level and their environmental attitude is at the desired level. The variables of age and marital status are significantly correlated with the level of students' knowledge and attitudes, while there is no significant correlation between the variables of gender, field of study and academic unit with the level of knowledge and attitudes. The results also indicate that there is a significant positive correlation between environmental knowledge and attitudes.Discussion and Conclusion: The high level of environmental knowledge and attitude of the students under study can have a significant impact on their environmental behavior and lead to responsible environmental behavior. The present study was carried out with purpose of assessing the environmental knowledge, attitudes and responsible behavior of Kermanshah´s Payame Noor University (PNU) students. This research is the result from a field, cross sectional & descriptive study. The instruments of information gathering included a questionnaire consisting of 30 questions in three categories of environmental knowledge, attitudes and responsible behaviors. The statistical community included 15200 students from PNUs of Kermanshah Province, among which 375 questionnaires were distributed randomly using Morgan Table. Finally 340 questionnaires were completed and collected. The validity and reliability of the questionnaires were approved by the members of scientific board of Kermanshah PNU and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient respectively. Data were analyzed using Excel Software.  The results indicate that the environmental information of the responders has been weak regarding the knowledge about environmental communities together with the area of their activities, the extinct animal species of Iran as well as sustainable development and its relationship with environment and national parks of Iran. On the other hand, the responders’ information has been satisfying about acid rains, Ozone layer, air pollutant gases, soil erosion and also roles and values of trees and forests. The investigated result of the students’ environmental attitudes showed that their attitudes, in the sense of affecting power on the behavior, have been over the mediocre level and their positive attitudes are being oriented towards environment-based thinking. Also, the skills and responsible behaviors of the students were assessed positive in this study. Manuscript profile

The present investigation aims at examining the relationship among the Intelligence beliefs, educational self-efficacy, and achievement goals as well as their role in self-regulatory learning strategies (Cognitive and Meta Cognitive Strategies) of Payame Noor University students using a causal Model framework and through Path Analysis. In order to test the hypotheses, a sample of 600 students from Payame Noor University centers through multiple cluster sampling and stratified sampling were randomly selected, who answered a self-report questionnaire consisting of subscales of the intelligence beliefs (Abd-El-Fattah & Yates, 2006), achievement goals (Middleton & Midgley, 1997) and scale of educational self-efficacy and self-regulatory learning strategies taken from the Motivated Strategies for Learning questionnaire (Pintrich & DeGroot, 1990). The results indicated that the proposed causal model after revision enjoys a good fit index, and that the variables formed 34 and 30 percent of the total variance of cognitive and metacognitive strategies. In general, according to the results of this study, it was revealed that intelligence beliefs not only have a direct effect but also have an indirect impact on the students’ self-regulatory learning strategies through achievement goals and educational self-efficacy. The results indicated that students’ intelligence beliefs, especially incremental intelligence beliefs,                    through the mediation of achievement goals and educational self-efficacy, can be effective on the students’ self-regulatory learning strategies, and finally, on their performance. Therefore, it is essential that these beliefs be enhanced through enriching the living and learning contexts Manuscript profile

The main purpose of the present study was to design an effectiveness assessment model for distance education at higher education section in Payame Noor Universities in Iran. This is a descriptive and survey-based study. The sample population of this study consisted of 45 university instructors and 1129 PhD students; 115 of them were selected through stratified sampling method. They answered the researcher-made questionnaire. Three experts determined the validity of the questionnaire and its reliability was determined by using Cronbach α. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics by performing SPSS & LISREL. The findings showed that the effectiveness of the services provided at the post graduate section of Payame Noor University for the student support index was average and about 12, but for the curriculum development index 11.32, for the faculty support index 7.58 which was weak (lower than expected). The results also displayed that the quality indexes were appropriate. In other words, this model can be used for assessing the effectiveness of services offered in the universities and centers of higher education based on ICT. Manuscript profile

(2004); Podsakoff's organizational citizenship behavior (2000) and David's (2014) job independence that have been validated by face, content, and construct validity methods. Spss version 20 software and partial least squares structural equation modeling with Smart Pls version 2 were used to test the hypotheses. The findings support the validity of all twelve research hypotheses. The effect of organizational virtuosity on citizenship behavior was 0.508 and on job independence was 0.284. The effect of the five dimensions of organizational virtue on individual citizenship behavior and employees' job independence has also been confirmed.
