A descriptive survey method in a mixed approach was used to collect, analyze, and interpret data for the study. Instruments such as classroom observation, questionnaires, and focus group discussions were employed to collect valid data for the study. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were employed to analyze and present the data. Thus, data gathered via classroom observation and questionnaire were quantitatively analyzed by using SPSS, and data gathered via focus group discussion were qualitatively analyzed through narrations. The findings of the study revealed that teachers are not adequately aware of active learning methods. The findings of the study also revealed that teachers view/perceive active learning methods negatively. Likewise, the study ensured that the implementation of active learning methods in the zone was almost nonexistent. The researchers suggested that the teachers should take capacity-building pieces of training on a short and long-term basis. Manuscript profile

The purpose of the current research is to identify learning strategies from a metacognitive perspective and to investigate its effect on academic self-efficacy, procrastination and academic burnout of male students of the second year of high school in the period of Corona virus. The method of research was mixed (quantitative and qualitative) and of the type of multi-group pre-test and post-test (extended experiment). In the qualitative stage, the statistical population included teachers and principals of junior high schools of Rasht, and in the quantitative stage, the population included all male students of junior high schools in the second district of Rasht in the academic year of 1401-1400 (N=500). Two schools were selected from the mentioned population via multi-stage cluster sampling (after checking the homogeneity of the classes). Fifty individuals from two homogeneous classes were selected randomly selected and were randomly assigned as the experimental and control groups (each containing 25 people). It can be stated that according to the covariance value in the academic self-efficacy variable (sig=0.00, F=36.97), this variable is significant. Also, it can be stated that the experimental group had a significant change in academic procrastination compared to the control group under the influence of the intervention (analysis of covariance in the variable of academic procrastination (sig=0.00, F=25.71)) that is, the development of learning strategies from a meta-cognitive perspective is effective on the academic procrastination of male students. Also, according to the results obtained from the analysis of covariance in the variable of academic burnout, which is (sig=0.00, F=30.42), it can be claimed that the experimental group had a significant change in academic burnout compared to the control group under the influence of the intervention. Thus, formulating learning strategies from a metacognitive perspective is effective on the academic burnout of students. Manuscript profile

The main objective of this study is to examine the effect of learning strategies on the development of new products in the Pharmaceutical Companies in Iran. Furthermore, the study examines the role of strategic orientation and cognitive capabilities in strengthening or weakening the relationship. The paradigm of the research is positivism, the approach is deductive and the strategy is surveying. Therefore, after reviewing the literature and designing concept model, a questionnaire consisting of 23 questions were distributed to 131 company. At least two of the senior or middle managers responded to each question, and the average of their opinions analyzed. Face and content validity of the questionnaire were verified according to experts, using standard questionnaires and relying on confirmatory factor analysis. As well as, reliability was approved by the Cronbach's alpha test, composite reliability and average variance. Then, the data were analyzed and tested using Smart PLS software through the correlation matrix, the structural equation model and the fitness analysis. The results show that exploratory and exploitative learning strategies effect on new products development. In addition, it was found that the cognitive capabilities can adjust this relationship. Strategic orientations, have a moderating role in relation between exploitative learning strategies and product development, but, their role in the relationship between exploratory and product development strategies are not significant. Abstract This study mainly aims at investigating the relationship between learners’ use of learning strategies in the process of English language learning and their command of English among English students in university. Out of 368 freshmen English language students, 189 students studying English Language at Islamic Azad University - Roudehen Branch were selected applying cluster random sampling. Oxford's Strategy Inventory of Language Learning (SILL) and an ETS version of TOEFL examination (2003) were administered. The findings indicated that participants’ use of learning strategies in their study had correlation with their English proficiency level. Moreover, there is no significant difference between male and female students regarding the use of learning strategies in relation with their proficiency level.   Manuscript profile
