The goal of this paper is to examine the impacts of E-commerce and the level of human capital on labor productivity in industrial units with ten or more employees. Our sample is made of 39 factories with four digit ISCI codes. Using Cobb-Douglas production framework and the accelerator principle, we estimated the labor productivity from 2006 to 2010 and found that electronic purchases have a significant negative effect on labor productivity, while electronic sales have no effects. Human capital was also shown to be positively related to labor productivity. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this research is to measure and analyse the total factor productivity (TFP). The case under study is the industrial sector of Kordestan Province in Iran. In order to achieve this goal, based on the International classification of the commodities, ( ISIC Riv, 2) and applying panel data for the period 2005-2011, the industrial sector is categorized into 23 groups and the productivity is measured. Since the data for the capital stock is not available for the Kordestan Province, it is calculated in this study first. Using various production functions, and selecting the most suitable functions, the elastisities, are then estimated. In the next step, the TFP is measured by applying the Divisia Index, for the period under consideration. The findings of this research show that TFP for the Industrial sector of Kordestan Province has reduced annually by 2 percent on average. However, the TFP in the industrial sector as a whole was 0/06 during the period under study. Unemployment is classified as one of the most serious obstacles to economic and social progress. So to avoid the negative effects of unemployment, reducing the rate of unemployment should be considered as one of the leading development goals in developing countries. One characteristic of developing countries is the low rate of productivity growth, and the increase in productivity is the result of reducing the use of resources, reducing   costs, using better methods of production or improving the ability of production factors, especially the labor-force. So, the Objective of this research is to study the effect of productivity of labor-force on unemployment in Iran from 1978 to 2010. For the theoretical analysis of the topic, ordinary least squares method was used, and the data were collected by the annual time series coefficients data. The research results of this method indicate that the impact of all variable coefficients has been expected based on the theoretical frame work, the coefficients for all variables are significant, and productivity of labor has a negative effect on unemployment. Although, the small and large industries are essentially different in thenumber of labor Force and the amount of capital, but their optimalproduction obviously is under the effect of productivity of labor Force. The aim of this study is to analyize and making clear the amount of theeffectiveness of Factors on labor Force productivity in small and largeindustries in Iran during 1994 to 2013. Some of the important Factorsthat are effective in increasing productivity are: physical capital, humancapital, the real wage level, the accumulation research and development(R & D), and the gap between actual and potential production. In thisresearch, using the statistical information from the statistical center ofIran for the ninth industrial groups (I.S.C, Rev, 2) and using panel datamethod. The results showed that the impact of above Factors (except thegap production) on labor productivity is positive and the amount of themin small industries are more than the large ones. Thus, using the optimumof the studied variables in large industries and improving theperformance of them cause the increase in labor production in small andlarge industries in Iran. The importance of information and communication technology (ICT) in the nationaleconomy is apparent. ICT has positive outcomes in economy in various forms such as economicgrowth and total productivity, promoting trade of goods and services, reducing inflation andtransactions costs. This study examines the effects of the internet on labor productivity byusing MENA selected countries data from 2000 to 2013 and dynamic panel data techniquesand by applying Arellano and Bond’s (1991) 1-step and 2-step GMM estimators. To this end, after testing variables stationary and existing co-integration between them, by Pedroni panelco-integration test, the final model was estimated by various estimators. The results of modelestimation by Arellano and Bond’s 2-step GMM estimator indicated that internet has positiveand statistically significant effects on labor productivity and in long term if other factors wereconstant, an increase in the number of internet users per 100 people, GDP per person employed, increases labor productivity 1.92$. Also, the impact of education and health expenditureson labor productivity are positive, but not statistically significant. Trade openness, GDP peremployed person in the previous period and capital formation has positive effects on the laborproductivity and are statistically significant Manuscript profile

In this study, the effective factors on Total Factor Productivity (TFP) with the emphasis on human capital indices, technology and management among twenty ed pharmaceutical industries of Iran in the period of 2000-2007, have been studied. Total Factor Productivity is measured by Divisia method, and effective factors on Total Factor Productivity have been identified with the use of Panel data technique. The effective factors on Total Factor Productivity in estimated pattern are as below: The percentage of the high-educated employed people(official education), per capita cost for educational enterprise (unofficial education), research and development capital stock, output value, cumulative number of the new products, the ratio of advertisement cost and marketing to enterprise output value and utilization rate of capacity. The studying results show significant and positive effects of the below factors: The percentage of the high-educated employed people, per capita cost for educational enterprise, research and development capital stock, output value and utilization rate of capacity to Total Factor Productivity and the negative effect of cumulative number of the new products and the ratio of advertisement cost and marketing to enterprise output value. So, technical progress by different ways (human capital progress, technology and management) has been effective to productivity improvement. Among mentioned factors, the percentage of the high-educated employed people, enterprise production index and utilization rate of capacity have had the most significant effect on total productivity. AbstractOne of the most tangible and effective areas of productivity, which the process of transformation at it, can have a significant impact on this very important indicator, is process of financial integration. Financial integration by integrating financial economies and relying more on market system and liberalization in its various dimensions can provide the basis for improving the productivity components. On the other hand, examining the impact of inflation on changes in growth rate of labor productivity is subject, which much attention in recent decades. Undoubtedly determination these effects can be helpful in adopting productivity policies. In this study, we investigate the nonlinear effects of financial integration and inflation on labor productivity in 15 selected developing countries at 2006 to 2019 with using of Markov Switching econometric technique. The results indicate that financial integration in both regimes, has a positive effect on labor productivity, but the intensity of this index impact is not very significant. There is also a Significant negative relationship about the effects of inflation on both regimes. Regarding the control variables, the business environment in first regime, has a negative effect and in second regime, it has a positive effect on labor productivity. Regarding the Institutional Factors Index, in the first regime has a positive relationship and in second regime has a negative relationship. Therefore, the need for new reform in these two areas is essential. So, it is necessary to make sustainable and cohesive planning to improve and development of financial integration indicators and also, control inflation in these societies, until  from  this way, to provide the grounds for promotion of labor productivity.
