This article seeks to explain that Naser Khosro had been inspired by Zoroasterian ethical teachings in expressing his moral views – which are mostly represented in his counsels. The effect he received from Middle Persian Literature and Zoroastrianism is not just limited to ethical counsels; the penetration of such themes in his subconscious mind had influenced the linguistic and mental structures of his works. In this research, on account of  the significance of investigating the effect of language and Pahlavi's literature on early Islamic centuries poets and writers' works, and the significance of such an effect on reading and a more precise analysis of Islamic texts era, as well as considering the fact that the penetration of linguistic and mental themes of Persian Middle Literature into works of Islamic era has often been neglected by researchers, a comparative study of Naser Khosro’s counsels and Zoroasterian ethical texts using Dēnkard (Acts of the Religion) full-text book IV – which is in fact the abstract of Zoroasterian counsels – has been conducted. With the analysis of the similarities between these two works in a mental and philosophical system, and from moral perspectives, we have concluded that Naser Khosro had been influenced by, and owes a lot to Zoroaterianism and Zoroasrian literature in writing his counsels. an allegory plays a key role in explaining the concepts to the general audience. Hence, it reflects on the religious and ethical texts addressed to the public. In the present article, using the descriptive method and the content analysis technique, the allegories used in Pahlavi tales are analyzed based on the content of the category and its role in the self-made category. The results of the research show that the authors of the articles by using allegory have succeeded in simplifying the complex and epistemic concepts, objectivity to cognitive abstract issues, and facilitating the process of contacting the writer with the text. It was also found that the allegories were categorized according to the content into "ethical and educational", "religious", and "philosophical and verbal" types. The paraphernalia in these texts is also often inhuman (including imaginary beings, celestial bodies, and elements of nature). Moreover, some of the allegories seen in Persian and Arabic texts are rooted in these Pahlavi and Avesta texts and texts. Thus, allegory has been effective in the transfer of part of the intellectual heritage of ancient Persians to Islamic era. Manuscript profile

Shakespeare in the most peaceful era of British history, generally known as “the golden age” which is marked with the least possible military tension, deals with war and peace, bearing in mind that in the reign of Elizabeth I, except for the rightful defence against Spaniards, not a single war was fought and not any devastation occurred that Shakespeare would possibly stage its actualities,. It is called the creative poetic imagination that enables the poet to depict the picture which he has never seen or the voice never heard. Condemnation of war in tragedy and commendation of peace in comedy is the main aim of this research, the manner that much resembles the strategy of eastern poets rather than that of the well-known author of Russia. Saidi of Shiraz mainly suffices to the warnings, advice and instructions humbly offered to the authorities to hinder their oppression, autocracy and absolutism. Relying on her patience and tolerance, “I see but say nothing” was the motto of Queen Elizabeth in which she so adherently believed and by which she was determined to expand patience and avoid violence in her administration. This article intends to investigate how the bard of Avon, hand in hand with his contemporaneous politicians, as the advocators of peace, have sheathed their swords and drawn their pens to write about the destructive destiny of war in the peace time as Saadi did. Ardeshir Babakan's 400-year-old work is one of the Pahlavi texts that contains the ideas of Ardeshir Babakan, the founder of the Sassanid dynasty. Many ethical virtues have been attributed to him in the context of Ardeshir's work, and he brings him to the point of national and epic heroism, which includes all the transcendental moral traits, such as despair, kindness, fearlessness, perseverance and sincerity. Ardeshir seems to believe that Iran's national identity is against Enyran. Advice generally refers to the duties of man toward himself, the Lord and others. In these wit and wisdom statements, human life is measured in the universe, and narrow-mindedness, hustle and bustle Wills and other evil traits will be blamed. Letters of advice are works that have been written in the field of politics and political reflections in ancient Iran and the Islamic period with the aim of advising political behavior on those in power. Treatises that belong to the Sassanid period and in the Pahlavi language include advice, religious and moral instructions and rulings whose content is rooted in the Avesta. Provide a framework to the Sultan and maintain and reform his power. The purpose of the letters is to provide appropriate guidance on "gaining power" and "maintaining power." Political advisories deal with how the political system works and the influence of existing factors on the production and distribution of political power. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical, which will analyze the data after describing the content. The aims of this study are to explain the position of the sultan and the monarchy in the ancient writings of the Islamic period. The addressee of many advice letters is the first person of the country, namely Satan. The most important aspects of the element of continuity in these debates are the focus on the power of the king, the law, the relationship between the king and the subjects (people) and the connection between religion and politics. Since traditional counseling is ancient in Iran and mainly emphasizes on how to maintain or gain power. Examining this issue during the constitutional period, which is mainly the main issue of reducing the power of the Shah, is of particular importance. The purpose of this article is to examine the writing of advice during the constitutional period, and the main question is whether, despite the desire to limit the power of the Shah, the basic axes of writing advice have changed? In this article, we examine two treatises that are from the memoirs of the constitutional era: one is the treatise of Shariat Mozaffari from the Queen of Historians and the other is a treatise on the definition of the formation of a civilized nation by Hussein bin Mahmoud. Mousavi and their elements are compared to ancient periods in Iran. The results of this study indicate that the main purpose of the constitutional period consultations is to find final and practical solutions to get out of a situation that is considered deplorable. The insights of these letters of recommendation also indicate a kind of dichotomy in the transition from absolute monarchy to constitutional monarchy. In this duality are found both elements of ancient counseling and doctrinal tendencies towards the king and the monarchy. This research has been prepared and compiled in a descriptive-analytical method based on consulting sources. Manuscript profile

Writing moral letters and training through them is a literary tradition dates back to ancient Iran. Narrating practical experience and wisdom in the form of aphorism, proverb and anecdote were widely used at that time. Moral letter tradition was entered into the Islamic period, gradually merged with the Islamic elements, and underwent changes based upon the requirements of this period. One of the most important literary works in this tradition is Qaboos-Nameh, which was located in the path of transition and transformation. This article seeks to examine the style and theme of Qaboos-Nameh and compare it with both the previous and the contemporary moral letters in order to reveal how this work relates to the pre and post moral letters. Surveys showed that because of the belonging of both Al-Ziyar and the author of Qaboos-Nameh to the ancient Iran, and also the author's familiarity with Pahlavi language, Qaboos-Nameh is very similar in style and content to the previous tradition of writing moral letters. On the contrary, the Islamic influence on it, comparing to its contemporary works, is scarce and impalpable. Therefore, Qaboos-Nameh carries the legacy of the moral letter writing of its predecessors in Persian literature and represents its components and elements in the Islamic era.   Manuscript profile

There is a huge ambiguity about Khayyâm's poem, thoughts and personalities in comparison with other poets in Persian literature. Attributing some incompatible pomes to him increases this ambiguity. Because of the close relationship that Khayyâm had with the court and the government, he was well aware of the issues and problems which deprived the society from the public stability.  The society in which Khayyam lived was the area of conflict and controversy of fanatics who rely on their opinions and they were followed by the acquisition of authority. In fact, the moral rules of society were based on the belief that the results were just arbitrary. Therefore, he used his quatrains as a manifest for his moral school and if we compare this school with the recent ones, we can find many similarities with the school of "originality of benefit". In his moral school, good or bad depend on its outcomes and how much enjoy they would bring. Khayyam was well aware of the importance and benefits of individual freedom in the progress of the society. Therefore, in his Rubaiyat, he was in research of breaking intellectual rigor atmosphere that had prevailed in society and tried to foster the tolerance spirit.  Manuscript profile

Attar Neyshabouri's moral views and words in Persian poetry and prose are valuable and worthy for further reflection and more research. Though the mythical and linguistics characteristics of Attar's works have been mainly focused on, the moral and and didactic issues of his works, especially in his Muṣībat-Nāme, have been less researched on. This article is going to perform a content and statistical analysis of Muṣībat-Nāme. The research seeks to answer the following questions: which themes, moral contents, and advice are more outstanding in Attar's mystical view in Muṣībat-Nāme? and is Attar's mysticism close to practical wisdom? Attar's concern was to elaborate virtues and warning and forbidding vices. Ethical and humanizing issues in educational and mystical literature are frequently recounted in the journey of the main character, i.e. Fekrat as a seeker. These themes were good temperament, fraternity, kindness, reflecting on afterlife and destiny, belief in mortality, forgiveness, justice of the king and ruler, love, servitude, modesty, trivializing the lust, avoiding lies and greed, invitation to fellowship and contentment, learning wisdom, sincerity, friendliness, despising the world, condemnation of the world and the self, observance of moderation in affairs, tolerance and patience. While narrating the mystical allegory of the journey for self-knowledge, Attar did not neglect the educational and moral anecdotes; And as far as possible, in the section of short anecdotes of this mystical prose, he considered ethics, moral virtues and preaching to follow them, condemning moral vices and avoiding from them. Another result of this research is that the expression of advice and educational topics of the short anecdote section in these forty essays (destination) is usually consistent with that section. For instance, during the narration of the seeker's journey to the soil, he spoke of humility and modesty, and during the journey to visit prophet Ibrahim (the God’s friend), he spoke of friendliness, fraternity and friendship. One important result of this research is that most of Attar's educational and advisory verses have been in short anecdotes and the sayings of Old man to Fekrat the seeker have more mystical aspects. The scope of these teachings is so broad that the book goes beyond the borders of a pure heroic work and has turned it into an encyclopedia of morality, science, education, justice and etc. The influence of religious teachings in Shahnameh is detected with the least effort but what is more explicit, in this regard, is the intimate link between Shahnameh and basics of Islam and its benefits from the imams’ speeches. The lectures, letters and aphorisms in Nahjolbalaghe are also like a reservoir of Knowledge, wisdom, education and human worthwhile teachings. This study intends to investigate the shared didactic points in Shahnameh and Nahjolbalaghe. Manuscript profile

Therefore, it is necessary to make clear what the goal of making prediction is in the literary texts within the framework of expressing dreams by astronomers, fortune-tellers ?the main goal of predictions are that everything that human do is the result of his/her action. To narrate a story that show the ability of a person of knowing about future is an advice for human that his knowledge is not related to him/her because it doesn’t make ability. In some cases, making prediction is a way by which wise men give advice to the oppressors. Sometime the claim of making prediction is a way for practicing hidden plans. Manuscript profile

The existence of Didactic literature in Iranian culture is one of the deep-rooted subjects with a long history. So that in the oldest sources and works left from ancient Iran, can be observed the themes and words of Didactic. However, despite the valuable researches that have been carried out in recent years, some topics related to it are still neglected or require deeper research. One of these topics is the investigation of the community of advisers in pre- and post-Islamic literature, which have undergone significant changes. This research, using the descriptive- analytical method and library studies, more than any other topic, seeks to answer the question that in the pre-Islam era in Iran, the duty of sermon and preaching and writing didactic treatises belonged to which people? It also examines the quality and factors of these people's sermon using the sources and works left behind. One of the most important findings of this research is that in pre-Islamic literature in the land of Iran, only certain individuals and groups, who mostly had the responsibility of religious and political leadership of the society, focused on sermon, and this also has positive and negative points. after more than eight centuries, Nizami is yet considered as the great storyteller in Persian literature. His Panj Ganj(Quintet) depicts his rhetoric in different mystical, love, historical and epic subjects. He had combined rhetoric and faith accompanied by divine revelations and succeeded not only in speech and eloquence manifested in his couplets besides perfection in literary beauties in expression and meaning, but also in all his stories. His stories denote artistic and literary aspects and carry moral and humanity messages involving advices on self-knowledge and wisdom for the governors particularly and people in general. Although, Nizami’s Haft Peikar(Seven Beauties) has been introduced as lyric and epic and apparently it contains submergence of Bahram Gur in pleasure of hunting and falling in love with girls of seven countries in seven domes but its general message and ultimate goal is guiding the readers toward humanly thoughts and moral contents and teaching and training. It acts as a mirror for human in progress and salivation path. Beyond the stories and events of Seven Beauties, there are deep concepts including theism, trust in God, justice, prevention of oppression, learning and gaining knowledge and art, rationalism , withdrawal of worldly instable belongings, avoiding of greed , blaming of debauch and lust, good thought and deed and avoiding mischief and hypocrisy, importance of endeavor and counseling with learned men in state affairs, generosity and beneficence, kindness with people and subordinates and other moral teachings that guide man toward salvation. A major part of Saadi reputation owes to his talent of speech and his great eloquence. However, he is not one of the poets that show his ability of writing and speaking for just reputation and eminence. Saadi is a reformist of societies who comprehend the society’s problem and monarch of his time and uses his writing for amending and modifying the culpability and deficiency. It is clear that the mechanism and instrument of this poet is his language and always he uses this language for advising the ruler of his time. His art manifest itself in advising this monarch.           Borzunāmeh is an epic work composed in the eighth century AH by Shams al-din Mohammad kawsaj, in imitation of and as the continuation of ferdowsi's Shāhnāmeh. This poetic collection deals with the story of Borzu, Suhrab's son, and describing his heroism and bravery. An attempt has been made in the present study to show by descriptive method and library studies that Borzunāmeh's poet imitated not only Ferdowsi's method and style in epic poetry, but also some of his details such as using and quoting advice in his poetic work. One of the most significant finding of this research is the remarkable influence of the advice of Shāhnāmeh on Borzunāmeh especially in using highly frequent themes such as pointing out the way and manner of life and its related advice; a case that is greatly influenced by the ancient advice and ideas of Pahlavi texts. However, in some cases, the influences of advice of the poets and writers such as Nezami and the Onsor al-ma'ali kikavous can also be seen.     Manuscript profile
