Iranian folk culture has specified a great part of our literature among different Iranian ethnic groups and has gained a high place in the vast Iranian literature. Iranian folklore has not yet been widely developed, but folk beliefs, feelings, and ideas have been passed down from generation to generation and heart to heart without verbal or spiritual complexity and most of the mentioned beliefs are remained in oral form without logical reasoning. Popular culture refers to a group of rituals, beliefs, customs, legends, stories, proverbs, songs, and famous poems. All proverbs, traditional medicine, stories, celebrations, feasts and various rituals among the various ethnic groups form the folk culture of each ethnic group and add to its richness day by day. The results of the research show that proverbs, beliefs and folk tales, traditional medicine, games, celebrations and feasts, local customs and traditions are among the subsets of folk culture that are in the literary prose works of Persian literature and the authors have applied them to create themes and illustrations. Despite of being a small religious sect, the Mandaeans, in the period of the rise and spread of Christianity or after the rise of Islam, especially after emerging of Arab and Islamic civilization during the Abbasid period, in the development of spiritual and intellectual life in Mesopotamia and the lands where They did, they played a prominent role, and among them brilliant scientific personalities made a great contribution to the promotion of Arab and Islamic civilization. Unfortunately, in spite of mentioning the religion of some other writers of their time, the historians have limited themselves to the biography and mention of their literature and sciences, without mentioning their religion; but this is acceptable because of the Mandaeans' insistence on keeping secret or the fear of announcing their religion or the lack of transparency in the philosophy of this religion. The findings of the present article show that there were Mandaeans personalities who had a valuable contribution to Islamic civilization and culture, and some of them became Muslims later, which were not addressed in previous research. The study seeks to find the influence and role of the intellectuals of this religious sect in promoting different cultures and sciences and ethics for the development of spiritual and intellectual life in the lands of their residence through descriptive – analytical and library methods in collecting data. In learning the external language, including Arabic, and its proportional use, the teaching of culture has not only influenced different contexts, but also in places where culture is taught with the external language, which is inevitable, we can use different methods. In fact, teaching the Arabic language outside the framework of the cultural destination language was not useful except that it accompanies some of the characteristics of the culture of that language’s society. Therefore, solving issues related to language and culture helps the quality of the process of teaching the Arabic language as an external language and achieves the scientific objectiveThe important point in learning a foreign language is that, given the culture trends of societies to learn foreign languages, we find that this approach is influenced by culture in the general sense of the word. This research, on the one hand, attempts to study the role of language and culture in teaching the Arabic language by looking at these two concepts. To achieve this goal, we have dealt with the theoretical investigations presented in this area and provide examples to illustrate the discussion.
