        Background and Objectives: Several studies have been conducted on the relationship between the Internet and social loneliness among different groups based on different methods. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to use a meta-analysis method to analyze and combine the results of face studies about the connection between the Internet and social isolation. Methodology: In order to carry out the current meta-analysis, 12 related studies were conducted in the years 1380 to 1395 with the aim of assessing the relationship between the Internet and social isolation and published in prestigious quarterly papers. In the first step, the evaluation of selected studies of homogeneity assumptions and dissemination errors was investigated, which resulted in the heterogeneity of the size of the effect and the non-bias of the published studies. At the stage second, the coefficient of effect size and the role of moderating variable of gender were evaluated using the second version of CMA software. Results: The findings showed that the effect size or Internet impact factor on social isolation was equivalent (0.214), which, according to Cohen's interpretation system, has a low impact. Also, considering the gender as a moderating variable, this coefficient was evaluated for men (0. 539) higher than women (0.246). The overall objective of this paper examines the relationship between social participation and a sense of social safety net citizens. Research survey using questionnaires, in Kashan city residents 18 and older, was conducted in 1391.
