    Sociological Research Quarterly considers itself obliged to comply with the principles of professional ethics values. The ethical policies of this journal are based on the principles of the International Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE) and compliance with the ethical charter of publications of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. The research vice-chancellor of the university has full supervision over all the articles published in this quarterly magazine and this magazine is required to comply with the ethical principles of the international publishing committee and the university's policies in this regard. Authors, referees, scientific secretaries and editors must comply with the rules and ethical charter of the journal when working with this journal.

    • Scientific-research articles should be problem-oriented and innovative.
    • The rules of copyright and adaptation of other literary works must be observed by the publication and the rights of individuals are reserved during publication.
    • Decisions about articles should be made at any stage regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
    • The personal information of the authors of the articles must be completely confidential for all the people who have access to it, such as the editor, members of the editorial board, and the internal and executive director of the publication, and other active agents (other than the corresponding author) such as referees, consultants, editors, and trusted publishers. Protect it at all times.
    • The possibility of using the results of other people's research should be done with reference and express written permission from the author.

    Duties of referees

    • The referees should help the editor of the journal in the quality, content and scientific review of the articles, or help to improve the quality and content of the articles through the communication between the editorial members and the respected author.
    • After the initial review, the selected referees should immediately inform the editor of the publication about the result, which includes:

    • Paying attention to the sources used in the article is one of the other duties of the referees. All the researches, subjects and quotations used in the article must be accompanied by full references in the bibliography
    • Judges should not except for judging the articles that the interests of certain individuals, institutions and companies are achieved or personal relationships are observed in it.

    Duties of authors

    • Authors of articles should prepare scientifically and coherently, according to the standards of publications. The method used in the article is done accurately and objectively and the data is reported correctly. Respect the rights of other people in the article through complete referencing. Refrain from expressing sensitive and unethical, taste and personal, racial and religious issues and fake and incorrect information and translation of other people's works without mentioning the title in the article.
    • The author should be asked to present and introduce raw data, interviews or questionnaires and other tools used in the research if needed.
    • The articles presented by the authors should be the author's own work and any use of other people's research should be cited in the article.
    • Submitting an article to several publications at the same time, or published or accepted articles to other publications, is against the rules
    • Referencing includes mentioning all books, publications and websites and other researches of individuals in the bibliography
    • Mention the responsible person and colleagues in the article and make sure there are no unrelated names

    The person in charge of the article is the person who has made a major contribution in the preparation, preparation, design and implementation of the article, and other authors are also mentioned as collaborators in the article, and the main author of the article should be responsible for the existence of the names and information of all authors and The absence of names other than the authors of the article ensures that all the authors have read the article and agreed on its submission.

    • Authors should also introduce all the financial supporters of their article.
    • Declaring the existence of fundamental errors in the articles, the author should inform the publication about any errors and carelessness in his article at any time, take action to correct it or withdraw the article.

    Editor and editorial board

    • The editor of the publication is responsible for making the decision to accept or reject the submitted articles. The editor accepts the article with the help of the editorial board and considering the points of copyright, plagiarism, etc., as well as the discretion of the referees and editors. The editor should always suggest and implement strategies to improve the quality of articles.
    • It is appropriate that the policies of the editorial board of the publication and the applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, violation of author's rights and plagiarism should be used as a guide for the editor's actions. The editor can consult with other editors and referees to make decisions in the mentioned fields.
    • The editor is responsible for judging the articles based on their thoughtful content and must act without favoritism or personal grudge or considering nationality, gender, religion and ethnic, racial and political issues.
    • The editor and the editorial board should not disclose the information of the article to anyone other than the referees, authors and editors during the judging and evaluation stages.
    • The editor should not use the previously unpublished articles in the received texts in his research, unless he has the express written consent of the author. Confidential information or ideas obtained through the evaluation of articles should be kept confidential and not used for personal gain.
