One of the tools of development is the foundation of scientific and research structures and institutions, so that without research, trying to achieve development indicators is nothing more than a mirage. Achieving development requires extensive research and its implementation in executive affairs. Strengthening the culture of research and applying the results of research are very important points to achieve development. It is obvious that the correct explanation of the problems, harms and issues of the country's scientific culture, while opening the way to better planning, policymaking and management of development processes and activities in this field, will provide the necessary platforms. Specialists and graduates of higher education are potential capitals of scientific development, if they are invested and paid attention to, it can be expected that the scientific community will take steps towards the development and achievement of new scientific findings. One of the ways to flourish creativity and innovation is the availability of up-to-date scientific information in any scientific field for the Taliban and those interested in that science. The attention and empowerment of the research sector is one of the measures that can be used to attract scientific elites, identify their capabilities, cultivate creativity and use this creativity to produce and expand science. Undoubtedly, social science, as a science that deals with humans and examines their social behavior, has a special place in the process of science production. Since human resources are one of the most important resources for the development of any society and the cultivation of efficient human resources requires the use of appropriate sciences in this regard, therefore social sciences are placed in a special place. Considering this special position, social science has tried to serve the people of this science in the field of presenting the ideas of its experts through the expansion of magazines in this field. In this regard, the Quarterly Journal of Sociological Research tries to take steps towards the following goals:

    • Providing conditions for information exchange in the field of social sciences, by publishing scientific and research articles at the regional and national level
    • Exchange of information at the international level, with the publication of articles by professors and researchers in the field of social sciences from other countries
    • Providing academic communication between social science thinkers and researchers by publishing their new scientific findings
    • Rapid publication of social science updates and providing the conditions for scientific criticism by receiving the opinions of social scientists
    • Publication of the results of interdisciplinary research with social sciences as its main focus
    • Presenting the latest scientific-research achievements of sociology to scholars and social planners
