This semi-experimental study has been conducted to assess the effect of group training of family functioning program on adaptability and family cohesion based on the Olson’s approach included in control group and pre-test, posttest and follow up. Available sampling method has been applied to select sample size among statistical population of married women who had referred to a health house municipality in Shiraz Iran. At the time of this study, these women have not had lawsuits of divorce against their husbands; they had been working in full-time job and have had one child at least. Accordingly, 50 volunteer couples were selected, divided into two groups of control, and experimental through random method. The test group was participated in 8 sessions of 90 minutes group training of family functioning program based on the Olson’s approach (Olson & Olson, 1999) and control group as waiting list did not received any organized intervention. The third version of adaptability and family cohesion (FACES-III) has been used to measure the dependent variable. SPSS-16 Software has been applied to analyze data and measure frequency, average and repeated measures analysis. The obtained results from repeated measures analysis indicated that the average of adaptability and family cohesion among men and women of test group had been more than control group and the differences are statistically significant at Probability value of 1% (P<1%). Hence, it could be found that training program of family functioning based on the Olson’s approach can improve the family system in state. Manuscript profile

They all questionnaires Internet addiction Yang (IAT), Social Anxiety Scale (SAS-A) and Bamrynd Parenting Styles Questionnaire completed. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regressions. Results: Pearson correlation showed authoritarian parenting Styles and permissiveness with Internet addiction and social anxiety in order (r =0.120 and, r = 0.210) and (r =0.576 and, r =0.517) had a positive and significant relationship. The authoritative style with Internet addiction and social anxiety in order (r= -0.291 and r= -0.263) is negative relationship and significant. In addition, multiple regression analysis showed that the parenting styles were predicted Internet addiction and social anxiety, and they in order 39 and 35 percent of the variance explained. Conclusion: According to the results, we can use the proper educational methods and make planning applications in the treatment of Internet addiction and improved positive relationships with others Manuscript profile

Background and Aim: In recent years, most studies have been conducted on the reduction and treatment of depressive symptoms in adults. Unfortunately, the results obtained from the patterns and treatments of adult depression are not generalizable to children. The purpose of this study was to investigate child-centered attachment therapy for depressive symptoms of primary school girls in Bandar Abbas. Method: This is a quasi-experimental study and the sample consisted of 30 elementary school girls who were replaced by multi-stage random sampling in experimental (n = 15) and control (n = 15) groups. The instruments used in the study were the Child Depression Inventory and the Attachment Quality Questionnaire. The independent treatment variable was based on child-centered attachment, which was applied in six group sessions for students and one educational session for parents in the experimental group. Data were analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance. Results: The results showed that treatment based on child-centered attachment approach was effective in reducing depressive symptoms, especially in the negative mood. Discussion & Conclusion: Considering the fact that it is not possible to use the studied interventions related to adult depression without considering the cognitive, emotional, behavioral and physical differences related to age in childhood depression, the results of this study suggest a new approach. Suggests intervention in childhood depression and promotion of mental health of children at this age. Manuscript profile

Abstract reasoning can evaluate by verbal scales. Because verbal tests impressed by language and culture, developing verbal test of persian language in order to evaluate abstract reasoning is necessary. The purpose of the present study was to design a persian verbal test to evaluate abstract reasoning and to determine its validity and reliability. The statistical population of the study were elementary students of tehran in 1393-1394. The sample included 239 student with age range 8 to 12 years old that selected by Convenience Sampling scheme. Pearson test was used in order to investigate concurrent validity between results of abstract reasoning and verbal fluency test. Two halves method and Cronbach's alpha test was used in order to evaluate reliability. Discriminative validity was achieved from comparing average scores of age groups. Results showed subscales of abstract reasoning scale and verbal fluency test had a positive significant correlation with each other. Retest reliability of abstract reasoning scale based on two tests run and internal consistency of the test based on Cronbach’s alpha coefficients in sample group was confirmed. comparing between groups indicated on the discriminative validity of the test. Therefore Persian Abstract Reasoning Scale is a valid and reliable test for measuring abstract reasoning. Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of training of  emotion processing regulation Strategies in cognitive coping of People with narcotic and Stimulus abuse. In the context single subject experimental design two men with glasses abuse and two men with narcotic abuse Which were referred to addiction centers were selected based on available sampling and were trained emotion processing regulation Strategiesin Individually in ten sessions. These patients were evaluated by cognitive emotion regulating questionnaire in 6 times (1 time in base line, 4 times in intervene and 1 time in follow up). In order to analyze of data indicators of process change, slope change, effect size, Cohen index and review of ups and downs of  diagrams were used. The results show that maladaptive strategies of cognitive coping (self blaming,  catastrophizing, rumination, other blaming) in subjects with substance abuse were reduced and adaptive strategies of cognitive coping (self blaming,  catastrophizing, rumination, other blaming) in subjects with substance abuse were increased Compared with subjects in the control group. The aim of this study was to investigate the validity and reliability of the Ethical Competency List (MCI) among employees of government organizations in Najafabad. Using cluster sampling method, 333 people answered a list of 40 questions. Cronbach's alpha coefficient of each question was obtained with a total questionnaire of 0.93 and the validity of the two halves of the test was 0.88. Using principal component analysis and Varimax method, 9 factors It was found that 56.71% of the total variance explained the variables. Question 24 was removed from the questionnaire due to low factor load and ninth factor with only 2 questions (34 and 35) and the questionnaire of 37 questions was re-analyzed. In this analysis, 9 factors were obtained, which is 59.58% of the variance. Explains these factors are: 1- Truthfulness and honesty 2- Conscience and sense of responsibility 3- altruism 4- Explicit 5- Courage in accepting mistakes 6- Forgiveness of others 7- Care for others 8- Daring 9-Pragmatism. To evaluate the convergent validity, a correlation coefficient between moral competency scores and spiritual intelligence scores was used and a coefficient of 0.62 was obtained. Finally, a soft table was prepared. Manuscript profile

According the cognitive ideas mental images form metaphoric images. This article investigates factors affecting on metaphors in the poems of the bilingual poet Shahriyar and whether these metaphors could mirror the world view of the poet. The framework of the this research is Lakoff and Johnson’s (1998, 1993) classification of conceptual metaphors and also Koveces’s (2005, 2010) on classification of metaphors into universal and variable depending on context and culture. In this research metaphors are placed in five groups: nature, love and separations, religious and ideological, political and social and finally, racial. The statistics showed that in the universe of these two languages metaphorical domains, political, social and racial ones depend on language and this hypothesis that metaphorical images are not only linguistic categories, but form the basis of the thinking and behavior of human beings is proved.
