The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of life skills training on self- efficacy and social adjustment of mothers with ADHD children in Mahabad city. The method of this quasi- experimental study was to use pretest- posttest design with control group. The statistical population of this study included all mothers of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity, Disorder children in Mahabad whose children were Diagnosis of ADHD in psychological counseling centers in the academic years 2021- 2022. A sample of 30 mothers of ADHD children whose were selected convenience sampling and assigned to two groups (15 experimental and 15 control group).Data collection tools consisted of sherer self-efficacy Questionnaire, social Adaptation Questionnaire (S.A.S) and life skills.Training program. In the implementation process, Sherer self-efficacy Questionnaire and social Adaptation Questionnaire (S.A.S) were used in both groups. After performing this test, the experimental group received life skills training, for 10 sessions of 1.5 hours. The control group did not receive any intervention. Then, again, shares self-efficacy questionnaire and S.A.S social compatibility questionnaire (Peakel and Visman) was made. In order to study hypotheses, analysis of covariance was used.
