The Impact of Organizational Culture and Strategic Management on the Implementation of Total Quality Management: A Comparative Study in Bank Mellat and Export Branches of Guilan Province

Abstract :
The present study was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection. The statistical population included the employees of Bank Mellat and Saderat branches and the number of samples was 384 through Morgan table. 192 samples were selected from Bank Mellat branches and 192 samples from Bank Saderat branches by random cluster sampling. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. Structural equation modeling with PLS software was used to analyze the data. The results showed that organizational culture has a positive and direct effect on total quality management. Strategic management has a positive and direct impact on total quality management. The results also showed that organizational culture has a positive and direct effect on strategic management.In addition, in a comparative study between the two banks, the results showed that the significance level of the test to compare the path coefficients between strategic management and total quality management, organizational culture and strategic management is less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two Is a bank. According to the path coefficients, it is clear that the impact on both paths for Bank Mellat is stronger than Bank Saderat. However, the significant level for comparing the coefficients of organizational culture and total quality management is greater than 0.05, which indicates that there is no significant difference between the two banks.
