Abstract :

Performance measurement is a crucial concept with a wide range of applications in managerial and economic decision-making. It aims to evaluate a set of homogeneous entities, known as decision-making units, that transform inputs into outputs. One of the most essential responsibilities in companies and institutions is inventory planning and control. Today, due to resource and capital constraints, managing physical assets and implementing capital projects on time is a particular concern for senior managers of service companies. Therefore, evaluating the performance of each organization's units in this area and determining their efficiency has become a priority within the organization's control programs. In this article, two-stage network models in DEA and DEA-R are presented with both desirable and undesirable outputs. In general, these models are non-radial and operate under a technology of constant returns to scale. By applying the structure of linear multi-objective programming in collective non-radial models in DEA and DEA-R, it becomes possible to identify an appropriate model for decision-making units while accounting for undesirable outputs. Subsequently, an applied model is introduced to evaluate the performance of the executive units of Fars Electricity Distribution Company in the field of physical asset management.
