Abstract :
Abstract The aim of this study was to examination the Role of Irrational Beliefs and Aggression on Academic Performance of Grade male Students at Tabriz High Schools. The subjects were 240 Grade Male Students at Tabriz High Schools that selected multi-stage randomly. For addition the data, it used from Irrational Beliefs and Aggression Questioners, and the Mean's of students as Academic Performance. The data was analyzed by Pearson's correlation and multiple regressions. The resulte`s showed that there is significant positive relationship between Irrational Beliefs and Aggression (p < 0.001 , r = 0.74), and Irrational Beliefs has significant negative relationship with academic performance (p < 0.003 , r =-0.61 ). There is significant negative relationship between aggression and students academic performance (p < 0.005 , t =-0.52 ). And the predictor variables in this study, Irrational Beliefs and Aggression each of them have a role in order to predict of students academic performance. Finally, multiple regression coefficients with phases method showed that the collection of predict variables have relationship with students academic performance and predict it, but Irrational Beliefs variable has most role at variance explanation of academic performance ratio to aggression variable
