Abstract :

Introduction:
The rapid growth of information and communication technology has led to changes in the way tasks are performed and services are delivered. In the modern era, with the increasing use of computers and the internet, electronic commerce has gained a special status. One of the industries that has been greatly influenced by information technology is the tourism industry.

Objective:
The main objective of this study is to identify the factors influencing the design of mobile tourism applications in Guilan Province using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method.

Methodology:
According to the classification of research based on data collection methods, this study falls under the category of descriptive research. In terms of its approach to the issue, it is a modeling-type study that uses the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method for analysis. The statistical population of the study includes academic experts and tourism industry professionals in Guilan Province. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling, and 10 individuals were selected as the sample.

Findings and Discussion:
Based on the findings, the key components in designing tourism applications were prioritized across six levels. At the first level, the variables of trust and accessibility; at the second level, the variables of efficiency and privacy (security); at the third level, the variables of app usability across different operating systems, technical support, and entertainment; at the fourth level, the variables of informativeness, ease of use, and information quality; at the fifth level, the variable of process quality; and finally, at the sixth level, the variable of design quality were identified.

Conclusion:
The results indicate that the user's perception of trust and accessibility forms the foundation for their decision to use tourism applications. While visual elements such as design are placed at the lowest level of influence, the findings suggest that the success of applications depends more on meeting users’ functional and psychological needs rather than merely visual appeal.
