Abstract :
The aim of this study was the effectiveness of compassion therapy on emotional self-regulation, intolerance and uncertainty about life in women experiencing divorce. The present study is applied in terms of purpose. The research design is a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test with a control group that was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of compassion-therapy on emotional self-regulation, indecisiveness and attitude towards life in women with divorce. The statistical population of the present study consisted of all women with divorce experience. Based on previous studies, the sample size in proportion to the experimental studies for each group of 20 people (a total of 40 people in the experimental and control group) was considered. The sampling method in this study was non-random and available. In order to collect data, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Uncertainty Intolerance Scale (IUS) and Life Attitude Questionnaire were used. 5 percent was used. The required information is also analyzed using SPSS software. In this research, descriptive and inferential statistical methods will be used; In the descriptive statistics section, the mean and in the inferential statistics section from the analysis of covariance. Based on the obtained results, compassion therapy training can improve self-blame, acceptance, rumination, positive re-evaluation and perspective. The experiment improved compared to the control group. The results showed that after eliminating the effect of pre-test, the difference between the two groups in the components of attitude towards life is significant.
