Abstract :
Abstract The aim of the present study was to develop and validate an executive functions training package and to examine its validity in children with trainable intellectual disabilities. Using appropriate content and resources in a qualitative manner and by reviewing relevant articles, books, and theories, the most important exercises related to the components of executive functions appropriate for students with intellectual disabilities were extracted, and a 15-session training package was designed accordingly. To examine the face and content validity of the package, 12 relevant experts, including child psychologists, researchers active in the field of executive functions, and professors in this field, were selected as available and completed the evaluation form of the developed training package. The test results showed that the developed package has appropriate face and content validity; in such a way that the CVI obtained was equal to 0.79. Therefore, given the credibility obtained, the developed package can be used well in educational centers such as schools and counseling centers to improve and promote the components of executive functions of children, especially children with intellectual disabilities.
