Abstract
The purpose of this research was the effect of human resource management on organizational performance from the perspective of managers and employees with a comparative approach with the mediating role of organizational culture, organizational commitment and employee retention in Islamic Azad Universities of Fars province. The research method was applied in terms of purpose, and in terms of data collection, it was an exploratory mixed method. The participants in this research in the qualitative part included managers and expert employees of the Islamic Azad Universities of Fars province, and 10 of them were selected using a purposive sampling method. Also, in the quantitative part, the statistical population of the research included all administrators and employees of Islamic Azad Universities in Fars province, who were selected as the sample size using Morgan's table and stratified random sampling method with proportional allocation of 357 people. . The results of the structural equation test from the managers' point of view showed that the two variables of organizational culture and organizational commitment have a significant mediating effect on the relationship between human resource management and organizational performance, but employee retention has a mediating effect on the said relationship. Also, it was found that from the perspective of employees, all three variables of organizational culture, organizational commitment and employee retention have a mediating and significant effect on the relationship between human resource management and organizational performance from the perspective of employees. The comparison of two models from two perspectives indicates that both managers and employees believe that organizational culture and organizational commitment to retain employees mediate the relationship between human resource management and organizational performance.
