Abstract :
Introduction: It seems that the migration of men to the city and the stay of women in the village creates extensive changes in the management and ownership of rural household assets from a gender perspective. Objectives: The present study examines the share of women in migrant households in the ownership of assets and the management of the family's productive resources. Methodology: In this study, the analysis unit of 289 rural women headed by a migrant household was identified in 22 villages of Mashhad county by snowball method and participated in completing the research tool. The research method is descriptive-analytical and in terms of research conditions it is survey and cross-sectional. Results and Discussion: The results showed that 19.4 percent of women with migrant guardians had no official ownership of their household property. Only 5.5% of women owned houses, 1% owned agricultural land, and 6.2% owned family-style livestock. Also, none of the women have independently owned cars, motorcycles, gardens and heavy family livestock. 71.3 percent of the surveyed women have identified their most important asset as the jewelry they use. In total, 26.6 percent of rural women are in charge of managing household production resources and 40.1 percent of women are in charge of household affairs when their husbands are absent. The most emotional support for women with migrant household heads was mother and sister and female relatives such as women of close relatives and women of neighbors. Faced with financial problems, women with migrant guardians are mainly supported by their husbands and fathers. Also, the most important informational and visual supporters of women with immigrant guardians, respectively; They are wife, mother, father, sister, brother and child. Conclusion: The results showed that considering that the type of migration was 78% of daily men, the control and ownership of production resources and household assets in the surveyed villages is still with the men of the family, and migration has not been able to change the traditional pattern of ownership and property of productive resources of rural households. to do Sponsor.
