Ranking of the effective factors in reaching the fourth generation physical education colleges

The purpose of the research is to rank the factors that lead the faculties to its fourth generation, so that, based on this, the activities needed to achieve the characteristics can be prioritized.The research was practical in terms of nature and purpose, and quantitative in terms of analysis and type. The statistical population was all the sports science faculty members of Iranian universities, and finally 218 people were selected by cluster sampling. The researcher-made questionnaire included 12 variables and a total of 68 items with a 5-point Likert scale. With exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, the construct validity was confirmed with the sample size adequacy value of 0.864. The reliability of the components was confirmed with Cronbach's alpha of 0.89. Friedman's test was used to measure validity.In each part, causal, intervening, contextual conditions, strategies and consequences, the ranking of its components was determined. In causal conditions, organizing content according to individual capability and then internal reinforcement is required. In the intervening conditions, professors' connection with the industry and the appropriateness of the training course with it, as well as the management system based on the open method, were required. In context, the government plays a complementary role with financial support and reduction of commercialization risk, financial exemption and support for internationalization. A strong strategic plan and promotion system design based on entrepreneurship supports the strategy component. Finally, in the result component, it was mentioned to renew and review the implementation method and understand the challenges.Preventing the implementation of repetitive research, specialization of skills, structure and foundation, considering customer satisfaction and faculty responsiveness, designing an intellectual property system and using the potential of technology development in university professors were some of the categories of required activities.
