Corruption is one of the issues that has been taken seriously at national, regional and international levels. The subject of this article concerns the international mechanisms for combating corruption. In fact, by examining the documents and institutions available at the international level, efforts can be made to prevent and tackle corruption in various respects. Thus, one can first of all refer to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which states by adhering to it and applying its guidelines in the field of prevention and counteracting, to make their own laws based on it. In addition, there are various international bodies, notably the International Police, the World Bank and the International Transparency Organization, each working in various areas such as corruption prevention, monitoring and evaluation. Countries can therefore use the strategies of these institutions and regulations to combat corruption. This study examines the preventive and consistent rules and regulations of the aforementioned international institutions.
