Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to study the Educational Administration curriculum in Iranian, American and Canadian universities. I included the curriculum objectives, content, method of teaching and learning, technology, instructional resources, and educational evaluation to determine the attainment, suitability and consistency of the course. The nature of the research method was qualitative and comparative. The comparative set involved four steps proposed by George Z. F. Beredy: 1. Description 2. Interpretation, 3. Juxtaposition, and 4.Comparison. The population consisted of the universities in the United States and Canada. The sample consisted of 5 universities in the United States, that is, Massachusetts, Harvard, Michigan, California, and Minnesota and 3 universities in Canada, that is, Toronto, Ottawa, and Calgary. The research instruments used to collect the data included down writing library of documents, researching reports, referring to doctoral dissertations and theses, interviewing with experts in the countries that have graduated or had the opportunity to study in these universities, and the literature, exploring the internet and valid university libraries in Iran and the world of research topics and papers published in reputable magazines and journals as well as referring to scientific databases. The results showed that in comparing with Iranian universities, American and Canadian universities curricula are deeper, more comprehensive, applicable and extensive.
