The Recognition of Effective Factors on Knowledge Management Implementation in Higher Educational Institutions and Their Ranking through Fuzzy TOPSIS Method

Abstract :
Nowadays, by complexity environment and quick changes in technology, organizations are faced problems to achieve competitive strategies to obtain and create new knowledge in organizations. These days most of organizations are trying to achieve knowledge, then share and create. It is necessary to design a new system in the name of knowledge management. But the most important step is to recognize the effective factors for implementation of knowledge management. Although, many researchers have studied the establishment of knowledge management, but a practical model to know most important factors to perform knowledge management in higher educational institutions has not been designed. This research was done in the universities of Mazandaraan city. At first, effective factors to implement knowledge management system have been recognized and categorized. Then with the use of TOPSIS Fuzzy technique, as one of the criteria for decision making techniques all factors were ranked. The results of research showed that the factors such as employing people on the basis of knowledge competency and designing of suitable mechanism for knowledge evaluation with 0.55 and 0.51 scores had the highest effect on accomplishent of knowledge management.
