Factors affecting cultural tourism development of city of Kermanshah

Abstract :
Research introduction and object: Iran is enriched from cultural attractions and it is placed among top 10 countries from cultural poten al aspect. When cultural tourism resources are well recognized, it remains the positive effects as protecting and stability of cultural heritage, arts, traditions, and customs of the nations across the society and cultural environment. The hosting area in order to provide these resources should also manage such resources and apply those standards in order to keep their quality. The art of planners and directors of tourism in public and private sections is that by applying proper methods while increasing the positive effect of cultural tourism development to limit their negative effects. The object of the present research is to find the effect of factors as cultural, political, economic, advertisement, sub ‐construction, management, and education on cultural tourism attraction in the city of Kermanshah. Research methodology: This research is development research from object viewpoint and surveying descriptive from data collection. Statistical population in this research is 118 persons chosen from among personnel of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Tour and Travel Agencies, personnel of museums and travelers. Findings: Findings in this research showed that presently the share of city of Kermanshah at cultural tourism is not considerable. In this regard, political, advertisement, and cultural factors find the highest level but economic factor in attracting cultural tourism is lowest. Conclusion: Since in many countries, especial attention is paid to macro policy plans and execution of their plans in tourism industry as an effective instrument in continuation political, cultural and economic development, and therefore cultural tourism development shall cause cultural resources organization. It means that we face automatic organization, sampling, and recording of our cultural resources in cultural resource development. Unfortunately, considerable savings has been applied in the budget allocated to it.
