Abstract :

This research aims to study the role of social capital in cultural developmentaccording to the viewpoint of 350 members of the scientific board from Islamic Azaduniversities, Payame Noor universities and State universities in Lorestan province. Aquestionnaire was used as the data gathering tool. After data analysis, the hypotheseswere submitted to be correct; meaning that there is a direct positive relation betweenthe society's current level of trust & cultural development and there is a direct properrelation between people's mutual relation & cultural development.
