Abstract :
Introduction and Goal: One of the core element of each society is Social Interaction. According to the “networking theory”, the human interaction are considered social assets and anybody could get access to all the supporting factors available within the network, according to Bastani. Regarding Bordio’s, Colman, Patna, and Fokoyama, such interactions are in the layer of group connections which includes elements such as relations, trust, norms, participations, and etc.Methodology: In this research, social asset is analyzed from the Networking Theory. The key research objective is to study the effect of the social networks on the social assets of the students in the Economic and Management School of Science and Research University, Islamic Azad University of Tehran. The hypothesis is that the main element of social assets (participations, trust, and teamwork) are effected by the online social networks. The methodology was correlative method and the sample size was 172 person, chosen from random method in accordance with the total size.Findings: The data’s analyses and research finding shows that the effect of social networks on the main elements of the social assets (participations, trust, community) of students of Science and Research University of Islamic Azad University of Tehran.Results: The main hypothesis shows that vitual social networks have partly strong effect on the variables of social assets.
