Abstract :

This research explains UNESCO’s Position in Iran’s Cultural Planning &Development. To do so, culture and development have initially been explainedthrough UNESCO’s viewpoint; then, development theories have been studied andstable human development has been defined. Also, Iran’s cultural heritage has beenstudied to survey UNESCO’s activities according to UNESCO’s 4 CulturalDevelopment Aims. Finally, the aims and questions of this very research have beenstated and the conclusion has been explained according to the data collection andanalysis done through the questionnaires handed out to experts related to UNESCO.The result of this research is that UNESCO has had a leading role in protecting,distributing and reviving Iran’s cultural heritage, Iran’s cultural interchange with othercountries and Iran’s Cultural identity revival.
