A survey of organizational culture in Governmental and Non- Governmental hospitals and their impacts on employee’s performances; (The case study: modares and lale hospital, Tehran, Iran)

Abstract :
Introduction & Objective: The goal of the present study was to survey of organizationalculture in Shahid modares governmental hospital and Laleh non-govenmental hospital andtheir impacts on employees' performance.Materials & Methods: In order to achieve the goal, organizational culture and employeesperformance of two hospitals were evaluated on questioner which had threeparts(demographic information , organizational culture , employees performance).TheLikert system in 5 scale was used for responses and finally the data was analyzed by thestatistical indicator,T.test and Pierson test .Ten percent of the employees who worked inShahid modares hospital and Laleh hospital (n1 = 70) and (n2=70) were selected toparticipate in this research .Results: The findings revealed ‘there was positive and significant relationship between theorganizational culture and employees performances (except individual creativity, risk,critique indicators) in per two hospitals(r=0/879, P<0/01) between organizational cultureindexes in shahid modares hospital, Identity, control, critique indicators and in lalehhospital, other indicators had better position .Also Between employees' performanceindexes of laleh hospital, Quality, Discipline, Responsibility indicators had better position .These findings indicate the hospitals in a relatively weak position to support breastfeedingin this province.Conclusion: The health care managers should have been attention to organizational cultureand their effects on employee’s performance .With this regard such as clear function,appropriate reward system to establish corporation and education continuing betterorganizational in environmental hospital .Also to establish job security, to recommend onself-control of employees and attention to criticisms are important in employees'satisfaction and their better performance in non_governmaental Laleh hospital.
