Abstract :
The present study was conducted with survey method aimed at evaluating military cultural competence and analyzing cultural knowledge and ability to provide services in military centers in Isfahan. The statistical population of this study was all the providers of various types of services to devotees, military forces and their families. Among these, a sample of 122 people was considered as a sample using Cochran sampling formula and community variance calculation, after the distribution as available, 0.94 questionnaires were returned. The data collection tool was a 26-item questionnaire for assessing military cultural competence of Nedegaard & Zwilling (2017). This scale was developed based on Bandura's Self-efficacy Model by Meyer, Hall-Clark, Hamaoka, & Peterson (2015) and measured in two levels for assessing knowledge and awareness and cultural self-efficacy. The reliability of scale and its subscales were more than 0.7. T-test and regression analyzing was used for the data in Akaike information criterion. The results of analysis showed that the military cultural qualifications of service providers except dimensions of knowledge and attitudes in other dimensions were higher than the average level. The highest correlation was found between the dimensions of military cultural competence between self-efficacy and cultural ability (0.679), the most effective factor in determining military cultural competencies with cultural knowledge is (0.279). The results of demographic variables show that the less experienced the experience of individuals with devotees and military personnel, their military cultural competence decreases. Also, spiritual services have the greatest impact on increasing the military cultural qualifications of service providers.
