Abstract :
Introduction and purpose of the Research: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between work-family conflict and value system of employees of Islamic Azad University, Shahrekord Branch. Methods: The research method was applied in terms of purpose and in terms of collecting data, a descriptive correlational type. The statistical population of this study was all employees and managers of Shahrekord's Islamic Azad University, 300 people.Using Cochran's sampling formula, 168 individuals were selected through simple random sampling method. The instrument of the questionnaire was the standard questionnaire of the Carlson Work-Family Conflict (2002) and Schwartz Value System Standard Questionnaire (1992). Validity of questionnaires was based on content validity using expert opinion, formal validity based on the viewpoint of a number of statistical society and construct validity by factor analysis method .The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed and Cronbach's alpha were used. The values of the standardized the Carlson Work - Family Conflict (2002) 0.862 and Schwartz Value System Standard Questionnaire (1992) 0.787 and the analysis of the data was done at two descriptive levels and inferential statistics including Pearson correlation coefficient and regression with moderating effect. Findings: The findings of the research showed that there is a meaningful negative relationship between work-family conflict with the value system (p <0.05). Conclusions: The results also showed that there is a significant negative relationship between time-based conflict, pressure-based conflict and behavior - based conflict with value system components (p <0.05) as well as regression results showed that work-family conflict can predict the value system of employees.
