Peer Review Policy
Journal of Southern Communication Engineering, uses double-blind peer review to review manuscripts. So that the reviewers do not know the author's identity and vice versa.
From the moment the article is received on the website until it is published, the paper will go through different stages in the following order:
A- The review stage
The publication's experts will review the article once it has been submitted by the author to ensure that it complies with the compilation guide in the first step. To expedite the review process, please carefully read the author's guide page before submitting the article and edit and submit the article accurately using the template available on the journal site. After that, the paper will be forwarded to two reviewers who are knowledgeable about the topic of the paper. The following is the procedure for reviewing articles:
- articles that can be published exactly as they are and don't need editing;
- articles that, following adjustments in response to reviewer feedback, can be published;
- articles that are not accepted.
The first category articles will, of course, be published as soon as the acceptance and publishing fees are paid.
The second category of articles will be forwarded to the primary author for revision in response to the reviewer's feedback.
Rejected articles will be removed from the review process and their author notified.
B- The Revision stage
At this point, the author or authors of the paper have to either amend it in light of the reviews within a maximum of 15 days of receiving it, or use the journal website to provide an explanation if alterations are not necessary. It can take two or three revisions for the journal editors to find an article's substance acceptable. Following the editors' approval of the adjustments, the article is sent to the author for payment of the publication and entry fees.
C- The final acceptance stage
The paper is delivered to the editing staff once the reviewers' revisions have been made, the editorial board has confirmed the article's scientific acceptability, and the acceptance and publishing fee have been paid.
The article will be published following the corresponding author's completion of the editor's correction requests.
The relevant author will thereafter receive a formal letter verifying the article's final acceptance and publication.
