Ethical considerations
- The Journal of Southern Communication Engineering is a quarterly publication that follows a double-blind peer-review process. It is an open-access journal that focuses on publishing original research papers. Publication in this journal requires the payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC) due to its Open Access nature.
- Southern Communication Engineering adheres to the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and upholds the highest ethical standards as mandated by ethical legislation.
- Southern Communication Engineering is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC- By 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display, and make derivative works only if they cite the original published articles in this journal.
Journal Terms and Conditions
To facilitate the process of reviewing and publishing articles, researchers must pay attention to the following points, otherwise, the article will not be subjected to review and evaluation, and the paper will just be returned to the author for structural revisions:

- Article submission is only possible through the journal website, and the publication refuses the acceptance of any articles manually or by e-mail.
- Southern Communication Engineering invites scholars to submit articles on electrical and computer engineering and telecommunication subjects. For more information regarding the journal scope of the magazine, please see the journal aims and scope. It is required that the submitted articles are relevant to one of the journals' scopes.
- Articles submitted to this journal, must not have previously been published in other domestic and foreign journals or submitted to other domestic or foreign journals for review simultaneously.
- The publication is free to reject, accept, and edit the article.
- The authors' names are based on the order in which the author's information is registered during the article's submission on the journal website. The responsible author must enter the names of all authors correctly and completely on the publication site.
- Completion and submission of the commitment form, conflict of interest, and the author's information is mandatory.
- Authors should be aware that the publications submitted to this journal are screened by similarity detection tools to prevent any instances of scientific misconduct.
- The paper must be based on original research conducted by the authors.
- The submitted manuscripts will be evaluated confidentially by experienced professors.
- Authors must accurately and appropriately acknowledge any sources they have directly or indirectly utilized.
- All manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers to ensure accuracy and relevance to the journal. Authors should, therefore, provide the names of up to 2 potential reviewers upon submission.

Contributions can be made in three different forms:
- Full research article
- Technical note

Paper Preparation Guide
Dear authors, please note that the following points must be followed to prepare the article:
- Title: The title of the article should be brief and appropriate to the content of the article.
- Names of authors: Regarding the inclusion of authors' names in the article file, pay attention to the following points:
- When submitting the article, do not include the authors' names or any information (such as e-mail) in the original file of the article separately. The authors' names will be included in the article file only at the time of acceptance.
- When sending the article file, send the name, complete affiliation and email of all the authors (the responsible author must have a university email) in the format of a file titled "Authors' Details".
- The order of the authors in the authors' specification file and the system should be the same.
- It is necessary for respected authors to enter the ORCID of the authors in their profile.
- Persian and English abstract: minimum 150 words and maximum 250 words in one paragraph, including objectives, method, results and research innovation while observing the compatibility of the Persian and English text. The abstract should include useful information, briefly state the topic and purpose of the paper, and also show important data and point to outstanding results and findings. Non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract.
- Keywords: At least 4 and at most 6 words (in alphabetical order) separated by commas (,).
- Text of the article: We do not have a standard structure for the title of different sections in the Journal of Southern Communication Engineering, but we recommend that the title should include the introduction, an overview of previous works, the proposed method, simulation results, evaluation and conclusion. Acknowledgments and attachments are optional. At the end of the introduction, it is necessary to mention the article's structure.
- Conflict of interest: Authors must clearly state any possible conflict of interest, such as receiving payment for the article or acquiring stock or shares in an organization that may be gained or lost through the article's publication. If there is no conflict of interest, the following sentence should be added to the end of the article, before acknowledgments: "The authors declare no conflicts of interest"
- Acknowledgments: In this section, all the people who somehow contributed to the study; But they were not among the authors of the article, they are appreciated. Individuals who contributed to the writing of the paper, methods, and general support are hereby acknowledged. It is also necessary to mention the organization's name (s) sponsoring or funding the research in this section.
- References: In the text of the article, the numbering order of citations should be observed and the reference number should preferably be at the end of the sentence and in Farsi.

- To cite and write references, follow the IEEE format, the guide file in this field can be downloaded in the author's guide section of the journal website.
- The references section is placed at the end of the article and its title does not have a number.
- In the references section, the DOI of each article must be given at the end of each reference.
- Accurate information and standard format should be observed in all references, especially conference references.
- At least 40% of references belong to the last four years.
- All references must be written in Latin.
- To reference Persian articles in Latin, use the word "in Persian" at the end.
- To refer to a single reference, use its number inside a pair of brackets; to refer to multiple references, use a comma.
