Abstract :
The primary goal of the present study was to develop and validate an organizational coaching training package and assess its effectiveness on the organizational performance of school principals in District 2 of Alborz Province. This research is applied in terms of purpose, experimental in terms of data type, and employs a mixed-method exploratory sequential strategy. To identify the components of organizational coaching, a qualitative thematic analysis method was utilized. Thematic analysis is a method for identifying, analyzing, and reporting patterns within qualitative data.
The statistical population included all school principals in District 2 of Alborz Province during the 2023–2024 academic year. From this population, 40 school principals were selected using purposive sampling and were randomly assigned into two groups: experimental (20 participants) and control (20 participants). In the quantitative phase, after delivering the organizational coaching training package, an organizational performance questionnaire was administered to both groups, and quantitative data were analyzed using covariance analysis.
The findings of the study revealed that the organizational coaching training package for school principals comprises components such as skills, psychological techniques, management factors, flexibility, human resource factors, motivation, teamwork, individual competencies, and work ethics. Furthermore, the package significantly improved the organizational performance of school principals in District 2 of Alborz Province.
The results also indicated that the organizational coaching training package enhanced factors such as ability, incentives, clarity, support, evaluation, and overall organizational performance scores. However, the package did not affect the organizational performance components of credibility and environment.
